Hey guys

Thought I'd finally start one of these poker journeys after following the forums for about 18 months (on and off).

My aim is for this to be more of a random poker blog than a journey. I have no aims & goals! So I'll post progress sporadically and random poker hands/events.

Atm I'm playing 10 nl on unibet and the odd 100NL live casino degen trip hehe. If anyone wants to share live casino poker hands feel free! Trying to adjust to this game is really fun atm. Been crushing for the past month which is nice. I played on unibet last summer too and it was good so I deposited 25 euros a few weeks ago and on 270 euros now

Definitely should be putting more of my time into uni tbh :/ I only plan on playing until the end of this month and then I'll have to stop for revision (uni exams arghhh). Then over summer I'll grind online/live until I start "real work" in September

Very short 30 min session but +17 euros. In my last 3 sessions I'd broke even/made a small loss so nice to win again. Probably play for another hour or so later. Might throw some plo into the mix too

I probably won't be playing live again until the summer but a couple of friends went last week and there was a couple interesting hands.

Hand 1. Board was QQxxx and my friend defended in BB with Q9. Heads up with villain who is a bit of an asian fish. Villain bets all 3 streets with a jam on the river and mucks. My friend tanked for ages on the river like how can he be good here?

Hand 2. 4 flush on board and villain bombs. Friend calls with 2 pair and wins.

In live poker bluff frequencies just go way up and villains bluff spots where you just never expect them too. In hand 1 my friend has to have had a queen yet villain still tries to bluff him off trips? Weird game - very different to online!

ngghhh not my night.

Got stacked in cash games with AA on one table and AAxx on a PLO table simultaneously which was quite funny.

Also bubbled a 14 euro min cash with AK vs KTo. And bust with AQ vs KQo on the final table for chip leader of another tourney.

Still managed +2 euros lol but after 3 hours of play should've been way more. Massively below ev. Ah well nvm.

Hand 1: Seems pretty straight forward? If villain is a fish they are capable of just making random plays and spewing. So if i defend Q9 and flop like tht i will always check call down.

Yeh there are way more dynamics live and bluffing can tend to happen a little more and maybe due to egos!

Exam season is upon us! No more pokers until June. BR seems healthy though so I'll come back strong playing 10 nl online, mix in a few donkaments and the odd 100 NL live sesh seeing though the standard of play is bad.

Just bought a yoga mat. Might help with exam stress (and poker stress later on down the line).

Gonna give it a try out then go from there. I'm more interested in stretching (like for sports) and deep breathing as opposed to yoga but I thought I'd give it a shot and if I like it do the odd session every now and then.

Had a dream last night that I weirdly took up yoga so maybe it is time to give it a try!

Going to see if I can get my partypoker account retagged then grind on there and unibet. Unibet BR up to 360 euros so pretty healthy.

Also going to play the odd MTT on stars when I have a few hours free (those 2k fields man). I deposited 100 on there yesterday and binked a $100 depositors bonus lol (this deal they are doing atm). 0.65% chance apparently. so Yeah, insta bink and double the BR lol.

Looking forward to CrazyCookies video series. Combonator looks awesome but I'm never paying $45 for it. I don't need it to beat 10nl games but it does look fun.... Pokertracker4 I could just about convince myself to buy
