^ I didn't know at that time he's that wide, so I assumed quite a bit of FE in addition to needing just 30% equity if I x/ and face a jam. And tbf, I don't have many bluffs there as I wouldn't squeeze light possible suspect, so I've got 1010+ as value, and just AKcc, AQcc, AJcc, KJcc, KQcc as bluff hands on turn. And against 35o, I've got enough equity to even x/c, so why not just jam?

And don't play NL10 @nojusticenopeace! Laugh

Haha, I wish I could play higher, but I am way too nitty with my BRM and I just want to get a bit more confident. But I will move up to 20nl this month for sure Wink

I made a mistake anyways. Our shove can't become -EV there, but it is very little +EV. Furthermore, EV of xc a shove there, or just shoving by ourself, is quite the same. So no mistake getting it in there basically. High variance, but still better than just x/f.

€: The only factor that could make the shove even, is the Rake. So depending on how high your rake rate is, and your potential rakeback, it COULD be better to x/f, but you can neglect that, as it is such a tiny factor.

looool just played HU the biggest whale I've ever played. I'm not sure he knew the rules Laugh Took like 150-160 eur from him, hopefully he comes back again!

Anyway I'm down ~ 3 BI's today, but this guy helped a lot!

Here's a spew from me. I'm not sure this guy has ballz to bluff river enough. I mean, he only reps 99, but he could be doing it with hand like 8h7h and some more. But I should have folded I guess, they don't have enough bluffs usually. Spew? (I was playing whale of the century simultaneously)

Ok, preceded to lose every hand after last post and dropped 4.5 BI's more. I got into 10 BI down swing in a single day, kinda amazing. Ok, some 5-6 BI's below EV, but it's still accomplishment! Why didn't I just go and get drunk tonight. Laugh But the games were sooo goood, sad it was me on the wrong end of hammer.

AHhhhhhhh nightmare but seems you had the best of it so nothing to really dwell on!

Hows the flat looking? Added any touches to it?
Posted 8 years ago
@Jon-PokerVIP Nah, I haven't added anything special. I plan to buy a big TV screen though if I do ok this month. I have to be careful with my spending, otherwise I'll be stuck at NL50 forever.

Delivered well on Sunday with a +300 day (although dropped (spewed) 150 eur in one of my rooms) and finished week with +560 eur or so in 36h of play. Pretty good after the biggest losing day ever on Saturday. Not gonna post graphs.

I'm thinking of under rolled few BI NL100 shot, if I'll have a good week!

Are you sure that's a good idea? It might as well be good (I don't have access to the same amount of info that you have), but building a proper roll for NL100 shouldn't take that long if your win rate at NL50 is good, but shot can be costly given your new life circumstances. Whatever you end up doing: #prayforMG
Posted 8 years ago
@MattVIP Definitely not sure. It wouldn't be that 'under rolled' as some would consider it, if week goes well I'm looking at ~35-40 BI's, and I wouldn't spew more than 2-3 BI's at 100. But yeah, most likely not gonna happen since I have to donk some chunk for the rent next week as well, but who knows.

Meanwhile, ROSTUCKO at 888 for Feb!!! 888 if you read this, I have superiority over your doom switch, you cannot hurt me!

Got very tilted in HU battle against loose whale, dropped 80 to him. Couldn't make a hand, and proceeded to play like scared shit. He quit me though. Actually I'm having a pretty big downer at that new site, and I'm back to BE or so post RB. Pretty crazy there if you don't have skilzz to flop big. Lost 2x 150 eur pots other day vs sLAG in 4bet pots, he flopped set & 2p OOP against my made hand. Not sure whats the best strategy, probably should go for a small ball poker? I mean, the game plays like this:

In other news - I'm thinking of going to live timbey tonight across the street, 33 eur freeze out. Been a while since played live poker. Should I?
Posted 8 years ago
Wow! Nice to see Stars still has whales like this at 50NL!

Go for the tourneyyyyy Laugh Do you know many people in the casino or just drop by every now and again?
Posted 8 years ago
Just guessing but that is now way 50nl stars Wink

Go for the tourney treat the 33EUR as a night out and don't even think about it if you lose Smile
Posted 8 years ago
Yep, it's not the Stars. One of the Euro sites.

Ok, gonna do the timbey. Starts at 23:00, will see if I can post some chip porn while at it - game will probably be slow and boring a f. Laugh No idea about the field, 10-45 or so depending if there are drunk Norwegians in town, most likely just local wannabes. Never been in real casino in my life, I'm no degen.

Didn't bink Sad

Bleh, game was so boring, so slow. Card dead as well. Played like 5-6 hands total. Laugh I think I made 1 mistake, not rly sure about it though. This short stack poker doesn't leave much room for moves. Laugh Best hand was when I iso from BU with AKo, flop A10Xss and limp caller fish open folded.

Final hand. Table 6-handed, very far from moniez, I'm BB with ~11 bb's (avg stack 20bb), BU (big-ish stack Russian (LAGish, not bingo player), would open close to 100% range there) 2x, SB fold and I got K4o and opted to jam, BU called with A5o and board bricked.

Just did lol math and seems to be +EV jam vs this guy. Donkament players approve?

Anyway, it was a good change from clickclickclick, I was a bit rusty with keeping up with all the numbers / stack sizes. Probably will go there more, maybe like 2x / month. 2/5 of pool were just horrible.

LOL tournadonkaments Wink
Posted 8 years ago
Donkaments = equity shoves go out the window quite a lot. Just gotta wait for a better hand. Shoving range can be far lower because chances are your fold equity is lower than you think. Just be a nit or a bigstack bully 4 winningz

WARNING: pity post incoming!

ffs, why do there always needs to be one room where you have ebola run? This Euro site will put me out in the streets..

Month there:

I almost pulled off reverse bum hunting yesterday night! I sat at PLO5 table, talked trash and lost some moniezz, asked guys if anyone wants to try that '2 card game', and all of the table insta joined me at NL10 table. Kept my whale image, donked a stack and started to talk them into NL50. Eventually I succeeded and got 2 full tables of whale hunters. Laugh Accumulated chips, some of the table noticed something is not right and left, except 1 guy kept battling me. I grew big stacks, but he then preceded to sun run me and got his moniez back + some after he flush over flush me in 3bet pot for 150 eur :/ Strong reg joined, and I was tilted enough to alt+f4 myself. HU is very good format, but insanely tilting when other guy sun runs.

I'm gonna try out Tilt Breaker next week, I just donk way wayyy too much money as I'm a mental fish. It also has feature to set up constant session lengths, block other apps while in session (no facebook / youtube jadajada) and ofc kick you out at stop-loss. I really think this can be super good for me. Anyone is using it?

Posted 8 years ago
-450 eur last week, and also -33 in live timbey. Gonna play super solid next week, gonna put timers for session length and not gonna look at results (except TonyBet where I have to do it to keep track), and I will crush!
