You got any plans for the summer or just waking up everyday and yolo'ing it away?
Posted 7 years ago
I don't have any really big plans. I'm gonna be competing quite a few weekends, like I'm going to Finland next week to run in 7-leg orienteering relay (1800 teams total). Some music festivals - now I'm thinking to whether go or not Opener Fest in Poland - they got Red Hot Chili Peppers ffs!!! Also I want to spend time with my friends, visit family more often than I do. + I'm eager to get back on my feet financially, so in order to achieve this all I have to wake earlier and grind mornings / midday and have fun at evenings. Simple.

I just checked out my NL20 graph, it's sexy. Gonna mix in NL30 as roll is growing quickly. I want to get back to NL50 asap!

That one is just brutal.... Worried

Holy shit! OUCH

He still has his backdoor flush outs live on the flop. Not even that bad a beat. I can't be bothered to do the equity but he's like what a 30/70 dog?

Standard.

Yeh don't want to whip my calculator out but that maths looks solid

Haha wtf, he has 3,4%...

Nope pretty sure @thetallpaul got it right
Posted 7 years ago
Yeah, @thetallpaul was right. Normal equity calculators don't weight on backdoor potential as much as it's necessary, but more advanced ones will give out close to 70/30 score. Villain played this one perfectly and trapped me right away from sneaky flatting my 5bet.

Finally got 888Caption, which converts stacks into bb's, have some auto betting patterns and auto click time bank etc.. Mixing in NL30 now, but still gotta get used to seeing stacks in bb's. It will pay off eventually, I'm sure of that.

1) HU is funnnnn

Sweet hand. What you targeting then? 55-TT? Or more ambitious?
Posted 7 years ago
Well, he's aggro, full of shit, takes weak line and I've got no SD value but I can have a lot of straight combos... -----> jam! You can get away with a lot and river bluff raises can be super profitable when you do in proper spots. Most players don't have balanced sizing's, and if you use NoteCaddy, it will show a nice graph of villains bet size / strength tells. I tend to exploit it pretty hard lately.

What was I missing than? I just don't get how this pokerstove calculator can be wrong...?

Could this be the greatest ROSTUCKO of this decade?

It could be............you have greatness inside you Smile

Yeah, rostucko sessions are fun. I realize that 'rostucko thinking' is a flaw for an optimal poker mindset, but I find them very effective as they do get the shit done! Sure you have to keep at least B level poker and no spews, but if you can - there is nothing wrong with ridiculously long rostucko sessions.

Today was a shitty day at tables, made some borderline spews. Broke even EV wise, but it should be +1 BI or so EV, maybe 1.5-2 if I hadn't C gamed.

1) This is a BIG spew. AJs is very bad hand to call here if we haven't seen villain jamming with junk. AQs makes a significant difference in this spot vs AJs, and AQ is a borderline for a call. AJs is easy muck.

For AJs to be profitable, villain has to jam range like this:

While AQs:

2) Meanwhile, this call is actually very marginally +EV
