Day 32 - finally pushed myself to play longer, last 30 min was B game clicking - lack of taking breaks. Day started with same old story, but worked my way up and BR is 1152$. Tomorrow gonna mix 50 again. Funny thing - a German guy who's grinding this challenge only at NL10 is at 1220$.. Laugh

1) Annoying vs aggro opponent. I was considering bluff jamming river with my FH blockers, but we had just 11 behind and he'd face 1:5 odds, so just folded. If he bets 6.25$ or so on River - anyone jamming?

2) Very. Annoying. FML

1) let him have it. I think bluff jamming in this spot is long term donating stacks. 2) this is no where near a FML Cheeky ... ties in nicely with our click back conversation a few pages back lol

Day 33 - solid volume again. No heat, but pushed for a profit. BR 1213$. Shout out to @killjoy1987 for tuning in for the first time! Also, shout out to @Jon-PokerVIP for spreading the word about my channel!

1) Straddler was loose rec. Once he checked turn I though he has AK/AQ/AJ type of hand always, he tanked sooo long, I was happy to see the call at that point until cards turned around.. Laugh This was close to end of the day when head was getting blurry - anyone not losing stack vs rec?

1) I try to give people credit until I have seen they are capable of something that merits being wider with calls. Some live players I know can do this as a semi-bluff or with other unmade hands. You need them to have 40% of their range to be bluffs or semi bluffs. Also note as a recreational player they are going to be more unbalanced than a reg. So if I had not seen this person make some excessively loose plays, my thinking would be they are on the tight side of being unbalanced - read this as overly tight and less likely to be bluffing. You raised pre and called flop so you range is made hands and draws. Draws likely ship flop; some will call flop to shove the turn to a check, but you are 77-TT heavy here. All this stated his turn shove likely has you at 2 outs. Turn shove is a lot of BB.

Im loosing my stack too. We only play 60bb effective stacks so cant see where we could get away.
Posted 7 years ago
^ 60bb sure, but this one is 120bb deep, therefore x/back probably better huh.

Day 34 - very tilting day, no heat, if you watched the stream - you heard me saying "fk me" way too often. Decided to go overtime for rustocko, and caught some heat only at the end to finish at 1218$ mark (5$ profit bang bang).

1) [warning, cooler hand incoming] 1 hand before villain 3bet click my open (I hold JJ), SB cc, I pump it up on bigger side, both calls, flop AKX, I x/f. Nothing special about hand, but so tilting Laugh

2) And here is interesting PF spot 200bb deep. MP is decent, squeezer also.

1) I would raise bigger on the flop if you are intending to raise call. I would go to $15. This sets up SPR of close to 1 on the turn. I like the check raise. This bangs auto-bettors and introduces a value check range to people. The extra $3 may not seem much but it does make a difference. On the turn he would have 34.65 into 34.25. As it is I find it a bit more awkward having 37.65 back into 29.25.

2) I wouldn't 4b JJ this deep. You open UTG get 3b if you 4b you hope he is 3b real light. JJ is sick out of position... these spots are hard.

I am writing this while on the phone so something may be off Cheeky

Yes but there is a straddle right? So we play 60bb?

Hand 2 i think is fine to play like this. Feels like AA,KK close to 100%.

Ahh yes, straddle makes it 60bb eff, good point.

Day 35 - started off with losing QQv1010 aipf full stack, but very next hand I close to trippled up with 55 on 1054ss vs JJ and AK (no fd). Kept running well for most part and BR is peaking again at 1465$. yeeey

1) meh. Should have gone a bit bigger on turn. River b/f or x/c, or jam?

2) Big one vs whale

3) Spew on river probably. SB rec.

1) I would go bigger on the flop. Not a lot maybe $3.75. They will have something here a lot of the time so make them pay for it. This sets up bigger turn bets and river having less than pot behind. River is a check. If he shoves it comes down to Jx combos vs bluffing frequency.

2) WP again vs auto-bettors.

3) Bleh. Often enough here I will bet turn again. This might be a leak I have.

4) Yes spew pew pew Smile Hard to rep 25 78 some 33 44 99 66 but not a lot.

^ that 4) hand was at very end of the day when I was tired - I called flop with gutter with intention to x/r turn, but 6 on turn is probably the worst card for this gutter and I should have just folded there, but somehow I didn't connect that 6d to the board and kept on with my initial plan. River just gotta go with it heh.

Just saw this one, pretty cool to lead the pack! I'm back live tomorrow morning, see ya!

Thanks! I was very close with Spaniard clubderem all the time (he was often ahead), but apparently he had some blow up last week and his roll is gone.

I think that will defo be the biggest issue for everyone! Staying disciplined and not just playing higher trying to spin it up!

Day 36 - not much to report, somewhat slow and uneventful day except some donations from wild rec (mostly HU). He lost a stack HU, sat out, came back to my direct left 4-handed with 50bb stack, posts straddle, folds to me w/ 66, I call, he iso 11bb, I jam, he snaps w/ 33 and I hold. BR 1585$.

1) Against rec. I expected him to donk all flushes and JX. Tried to get him off a chop, but it went a bit wrong.

Day 37 - much more eventful. Ran good when got in KKvAA, ran it 3 times and won 1/3, and also only lost like 40bb when flopped Q high flush vs A high flush! Crossed 1.7k mark, but final session was so tilting. Quit after hand when I open JJ, cbet 933 vs 2 villains, whale rec calls and x/raises big on 6 T, ships 0.8 PSB 6 R (93366), I tank call thinking that only like 96 makes sense and surely he has 96. and BR is 1650$.

1) Hmm. I had him marked as rec and note that small bets = value.

2) ok, couple orbits later.

3) No info on villain, he's a reg most likely as from Moldova.
