I would need some time to think on these.
1) River bluff raises are quite rare. Without reads on this person taking creative opportunities I would just assume 66 and fold most of the time with some calls. My calling frequency here I think would be quite low.
2) KQo seems a little light to a turn jam ... does he really do this often enough with KJ or semi-bluff combo draws?
3)
4) Depends on reads here and how they play draws. These days it does seem that the overshove is 88 55 wanting to look like QJhh vs some recreationals. Maybe some TT also. Still if he has 2:1 draws to sets still bet fold is ok to the jam. I cant look at numbers at the moment but he needs to have a lot of draw combos to call off here. This is where it is player dependent and how much suited stuff they play.

@Joshk81 Thanks again!
1) Yeah, this was from final session where I got a bit frustrated. I do have lot's of AK combos, but those I might bet on turn. Apart 1 quad combo I'm trapping, KQ is best I have I think, if I call like 25% of time it should be fine I guess.
2) Maybe this is a leak of mine, but assume villains range to be weaker and account more fancy play when he posts dead blind. I said on the stream that if he hadn't posted, I'd fold.

Day 60 - again, uber tilting below EV. Lot's of tough spots with marginal holdings and not much donations. Fortunately I won the biggest pot I've ever played in final session to show some profit. I'll play tomorrow as well, but take Sunday off. BR 3154$.

1) The big one

2) Bluff vs good reg. I think this is a decent hand to bluff jam, blocking 10's, AQ, KQ, not blocking hearts and quite a bit of equity.

Fuck me, I had the most tilting winning day ever! Day 61 - it started off with a sunrunning and reaching 3.4k mark in first hour of play. Aaaand after the break it was just a downfall Laugh Again, tons of those frustrating spots when you have 2nd pair, losts of brickkk in 3bet pots and runouts that just seems to troll the shit out of you. I didn't play my best at end. I played 6 full days in a row and it seems a bit too much - gotta have those days off, otherwise threshold is already full of frustration. Month hasn't gone as I wished to so far (month starts at 17th for me), so I wanted to go extra. Pool wasn't great too, lots of reg battling it out, especially at 100. BR 3190$. Tomorrow off, back fresh on Monday!

1) All day long, this time I had pair so pretty much nuts on overall background. Maybe I should have bet turn, but I was getting x/jammed there all day so just hoped for brick and would bluff catch a bet I guess.

2) Reasoning for this - fuck him, I jam.

Graph so far. Yeah, it's going up, but not that much since day 47. Anyway, #prayforMG

Praying all the way buddy! Graph looks dope and with a few adjustments it will smash back up again no doubt! Don't forget to work on your game alongside it!

Nothing wrong with this graph mate. You're crushing and will continue to do so. Why you aren't a coach on this site yet I don't know Smile

Thanks guys! Yeah I looked at the results today with fresh mind the winrates are still good. I'm pretty sure my winrate at NL25/50 at GG network is if not the highest of all, top 3 for sure. I have just 2.5k sample at NL100, and we are up 2-3 BI EV wise (it's hard to know the real win rate, the built in tracker PokerCraft is still beta version and it doesn't take rake into account, so it shows astronomical numbers). The issue is lack of volume I put in at the end of December - fucked sleeping schedule, holidays. Mostly fucked up sleeping schedule as Christmas / NY fell into Sat/Sun and I had just 1-2 extra days off.

"Why you aren't a coach on this site yet I don't know :)" - to be honest, I'd be happy to do some content / coaching work. I do offer coaching in my twitch page yet no one seems interested. I'm pretty sure I can turn b/e, slightly losing micro player into a crusher (up to NL50) fairly quickly as games are easy, the issue is that most struggling players are just not setting themselves up for winning as they should along with some easy to fix leaks. The thing is, there are a lot of coaches who can pull out their magical graphs from 2009 and offer expensive coaching. Doesn't matter they are losing / b/e RB players now - I cannot compete to those graphs. Smile

There is a possibility the challenge will come to a hold for some period. Truth is - my savings will run out in ~3 months from now (I'm not allowed to withdrawal from challenge account). Options for me will be 1) Borrow money (which I really don't want to), 2) Take up a stake and grind out ~1-2k profit (with a split in my favor). I will probably choose number 2, so the challenge will be on hold or part time. Sure, if I crush NL100 by that time, 1-2k can be made quick when heating, but if running bad, can take some time..

quick question: How much would it cost me, if I want you to review 30min or 1h video of me playing/commentating 4 tables of nl25 or nl50. I would be interesting of you correcting my mistakes, both played and in thought process.

I think I am winning at nl25 now (also nl50 but literally I have no sample there :D), can not tell how much, but I know that I am not good post-flop.

I don't use hud at the moment so I i don't have any handhistory.

@mattusko Cheap. I've never coached (apart my stream where I give out quite a bit of free info when in good mood Laugh ), so for the first 5h I do, it comes at a discount price. 15eur/30 min and 25eur/h. After I reach 5h of experience I'll bump it up a little bit.

I think the issue for a lot of people who want coaching is that if they are a microstakes player then they will worry that the coaching will be too expensive for the good that it will do them at those games. If they expect to get enough hours for things to sink in and learn enough then it'll be pretty expensive for the money they'll be expecting to earn from it. And people like quick results where they can see how their investment is benefiting them sooner rather than later, which is a hard thing to do in this game. They have to know it'll be a long term effort where they have to put in the work and even then this game takes a lot of mind power and good long term mental game to do well at. But then again I'm sure a lot of coaches do well and after all, you are currently crushing the games at this moment, so I hope you can get something good out of that.

This is the question whether or not to have coaching in first place. I myself went the hard way and grinded it out from NL2 without any coaching or training site subscriptions. But it took time. Long time. And lot's of frustration. For a kid without income from East block coaching will obviously be too pricey, but if you have income, you work 9-5 and play poker at recreational level - buying some hours of coaching probably is the way to go. 100$ spent will not hurt you, and it will turn your hobby intro making extra money (second salary). There are just that many hours in day, and if you work 9-5 +commute, you will just not be able to make it up by yourself unless true determination and not having life. You should just spend 1-3 hour wage you earn and buy hour of coaching which will save you like 25 hours (not to mention frustration from tables that comes along) you'd spend to gain that knowledge by yourself.

I hope that made sense Laugh

What's the name of your stream MG?
TY!
Posted 7 years ago
@mattusko Sure, lets do it! Once you send me material I'll do it fairly quickly, 1-2 work days max. You can PM me your Skype and we can discuss details.

@Balonashttps://www.twitch.tv/jayspokerr - here is the link. I stream every work day with few rare weekends.

Day 62 - oh boy, it almost turned into disaster. Got sooo close to hitting -400$ stop loss. I crossed 3.3k and then hit ~close to 500$ downer, mostly due to losing stacks at NL100. I'm gonna post hands, 1 stack was HU AIPF, 1 was bluff 3BPand 60bb eff too bluff catch vs unknown where I should have just folded turn. Lowest point was like 2.86k, but I recovered a bit at end and BR is 3073$, so just lost 120$ and small win EV wise, so all good. But frustrating of course.

Shoutout to @Balonas for tuning in! The final session (~5.30-7pm gmt+2) I stream without MIC usually, unlucky for you Laugh

1) Villain is unknown. Should have mucked turn w/o info. I do have cool blockers and 5 on turns also limits value combos he can have. Problem is that villain is odd stack, therefore more likely a fun player and more likely to go full throttle with overpair like 99/1010.
Attached Image

2) Villain is pretty aggro HU, have seen him playing NL200 too. 3x 4bet worried me a bit at they tend to be more value heavy, but my plan was to 3b/5b jam. 1010 should be standard go broke hand 100bb HU I guess.

3) Bluff. Not the best card on river though.

Yeh, nice stream you got there and some very interesting hands too. I bet it would be much interesting if you would live comment the hands. Smile

I wanted to say about the 67o hand that it waas too loose in my opinion, but kept my mouth shut because I didn;t want to interfere and cause you unnecessary tilt. Smile

Good luck!
I'm going to watch your stream as often as I can.

Day 63 - finally a bright day! Above EV too (due to 1 hand I'll post). BR 3337$. Feels good to run good for a change Laugh

1) A guy called "rampstyle7" said "gl" in chat just before money went in. I made him moderator after it.

2) If hand was HU I'd x/c all the way. Here it looks really value heavy though.

3) value

I watched this (and couple more) video yesterday. I strongly recommend everyone to watch it! I was thinking about rhythmic breathing today when I played (well, not all the time yet) and I really felt better! Also I looked into smart drug scene. If I had free money I'd snap ship some of those pills. I'll start using them for sure when I get my 20k payday.

Love the turn bet in the last one, I assume he was a mega fish and wasen't ever going to fold a J.

How is Natural8 as a site, software looks nice from the screenshots.
Posted 7 years ago
I've seen the video you've posted many of times and I can confirm that it's absolutely awesome.

Also, congrats on a great day poker wise! #prayforMG
Posted 7 years ago
@Harvie He doesn't even need to be mega fish. He was bad in reg / "good" rec category and they don't fold J there. Sure I miss some value against 8X/some draws from his range, but it is very outweighed by times they pay off with JX. Same approach goes on board like AA5 when you min open BU w/ 55 and BB defends - you can 1/3 PSB cbet (all range), and massively overbet turn as villains calling range is very inelastic.

Site is all right too, only downside is that gameplay is a bit slower, so hands/hour is lower too.
