I've never been a fan of Skrill. Even more so now that it wouldn't work for me. Does PayPal have crazy charges like that? I've never noticed if they do.
Posted 7 years ago
Skrill isnt that bad once you learn how to navigate thru and around it,but I know the feelign when they rip you off for curency convertions and transfer fees.
There is Netteller, which I never used but as far as I know they are owned by skrill so I imagine thngs are similar there.
Most if not all poker sites nowdays support the service called Paysafe.
In my country you can buy paysafe voucher at almost any store and gas station.
Basicly you buy voucher where you pay fee of 1e up to 100e value (you have 10,25,50, 100e worth of vouchers), than you simply select paysafe paysafe deposit method in poker client, put in voucher number and you are good to go.
So perhaps you could go for that.
For withdrawal you can use skrill , since its free of charge to you, just make sure you withdraw moneyi n same vault in which is your skrill account, that way they dont charge you for vault converting (this is where you lose most imo).

Jon-PokerVIP: Buys a new car and house this month

moans about $6

Maybe his attitude towards those 6$ is precisely the reason why he was able to buy a new car and house Wink ?

Haha I knew someone would say that Smile

Pulled out of that house purchase and had offer accepted on a much better one today. Stressful does not cover it.

In other news I'm running comically bad the last couple of days. On Stars they always had the nuts. Unibet is just lolz. I had a NL25 ticket and lost all that trip Aces vs FH which blew. The nut worst was a $10 buy in tourney I had a ticket for. Sick overlay with $300 guaranteed up against some absolute morons. Open jamming 100bb's, overbetting flop for 10x pot, limp calling and donk potting with 3rd pair. It was all going great and I started to think I might win as I (for the first time in my life) felt maybe was one of the best players there.

Picked up KK on the button and MP drooler opens for 4x. I 3bet and get a call. Flop Q83 two tone and he check jams all 11x my standard cbet. I snap and get shown QJo. You can guess the rest. Bollox.

Long may that continue. Its been a fun journey. Winning, losing, mental game challenges, getting hacked and all my BR stolen, winning, losing, mental game breakthrough and now competition win to get on with.

As soon as up and running on that with the $200 BR I'm thinking I will make a video or three on the ACR or BCP run-up. With my mental state so much clearer these days I feel like I could do it. Not every long grinding session but a few actual videos see if people are interested in that as a concept. Can do a bit of Weazel Plays style challenge thing as well as basic line work and some study stuff.

Not coach videos but try and make them interesting and help me learn.

Come on @Jon-PokerVIP ship me my BR and gogogogo!

Selfish. Just seen your PM apologies for the delay. I would come up with a good excuse but I just totally forgot to check them for a few days Smile

Yesterday I had the worst session I've had in a while play wise. I actually ended up ahead after some fish punted me their stacks and I was well above EV but I should have lost 2 full stacks with horrible play. Just the worst.

It really tilted me immediately afterwards but I suppose I should be happy that its been a while since I made such bad errors (or at least such large ones). Winning money was a nice thing as well as had no massive impact on my BR. At least also I can see how bad they were even as I did it. One was overpair vs set, the most obvious set ever (even if he shouldn't have been calling 3bets OOP with lots of small PP's) and the other main one I lost track of the action like a noob and donked and barrelled off my overpair into a better overpair.

Then I got fold happy. Thoughts?

Woaa, that KK fold. I wouldn't do it. I've heard NL10z is a giant nit fest tho, but I stack off anyway.

AJo I might even muck on flop, turn fold easy.

A10s I call down as CO seems fish.

Yeah I know 100bb I never would even on Zoom. It's what I do when I am making bad choices I second guess it and find reasons to fold.
