The 3rd graph is for when I 3bet from the BB and SB v CO/BU out of position, 3bet pots only. If I understand your question properly.

Win rate for SB -12bb/100 BB-3bb/100 all pots played.

If you are interested in checking your stats that is a pic of the filter I used in PT4

Talking about this stat. Looks like it is just 3b opportunity not actual 3bets, so this is when you face a raise and have the opportunity to 3b, not actually when you 3b?

I don't use stats much so can't be sure but that is what it looks like to me.

Ok that filter was confusing! That is all the times I did 3bet + all the times I called and folded.

This is the filter for the times I did 3bet only

This is the actual graph of the times I 3bet only. Very different story

For some variety and to try to move up a little faster been playing some regular tables, split 25nl and 50nl. I'm running at 1.5bb/100 with ev of 4.6bb/100 for 25nl. 50nl running at 11.03bb/100 with ev or 21bb/100

Have to admit getting a little frustrated as since the beginning of the challenge been running at about 60% ev over 200k hands this is adding up. Bank roll should be around $2k from the initial $85 however we are around the $1k mark with a little over one month to go. On the bright side quite pleased I have moved up from 2nl too 50nl in two months

Did a second session at 50nl. A win is a win

A win is a win but that is 300bb right? That's a super sick win for 1800 hands!

Jon-PokerVIP: A win is a win but that is 300bb right? That's a super sick win for 1800 hands!

@Jon-PokerVIP Thanks man. Something that seems to be hampering me a lot is every often I'll be up say 3-4 buy ins, then I will have a short spell where I have a cooler and a few bad beats etc. I will just quit and many days that could be winning are breakeven or loosing. I loose the joy of playing esp if tired I just dont have it in me to continue or want to risk making it worse though bad play. Is there something to be said for just quitting while ahead? is there something that can be done to prevent this? Do you just keep on playing as you have better control over tilt? I get tiredness tilt and accumulation tilt, not the spaz off buy ins more 10-20-30 bb mistakes that normally I would avoid. If I can get this sorted would be awesome it works out at hundreds of dollars lost a week.

Next target is 100nl in one month.

Woohoo won my first 200bb pot at 50nl my only all in pot won Dancing
Posted 7 years ago
Does anyone have any words of wisdom? This has been going on for the last 200k hands. Its impossible to get anywhere. I have only one 1 all in at 50nl won only 1 200bb pot every time I have gotten it in with the nuts is a split pot and so on. I won 1 flip, lost all, all ins with AA,KK etc.

I know im complaining but how is it possible to get anywhere like this? I'm at the point of just saying "fuck it i'm done wasting my time".

Stop looking at the all in EV is the only advice out there. You will run as bad as possible for 200k hands or more, it sucks but you have to just ignore it. How many hands is this picture from?

It is also possible that you are not running this bad all together and are flopping more sets or villain have the best hands for you to get to fold etc, that all in EV can't take into account.

Also if your style is stacking off with flips, your varience will be super high. I have a friend who had a run like this, 100k hands -2bb all in EV +4bb and he was staking off light and just loosing the 20% spots mor eoften and getting into flips. He said he was running awful and yeah his stats showed he was... But he was also stacking off in -EV/be spots that he could profit from by calling.

Hey man thanks for the reply. That pic is just over 45k hands on one site this month mostly at 25nl. I don't flip too light I prefer to avoid them I'd rather play the streets and get it in with better equity. The post was a bit of a frustration post Blush after some bad runs, makes me question my abilities a bit. I have moved the ev stat from my reports so not a focus. I usually use after a run of losses to see if I was just spewing/playing poorly or just unlucky etc. I will not look at EV for a week and see how things go.

Cheers mate
