Hot Gossip - PokerStars To Merge Traffic With Full Tilt

Posted 8 years ago

So it looks like this is confirmed and happening within 6 weeks!!!!

Due to FTP traffic slipping consistently and barely no marketing being done over there it seems like the obvious move. Will the software go is the question?

It is kind of pity, in my opinion FTP has the best software in the industry. Once it was the most beautiful and the most glorious poker site, now more like a deserted ghost town. Only because some people got and idea that they do not have enough money so they will make it in dishonest way destroying the whole brand.

Yeh FTP will always hold memories of the biggest comps like FTOPs and ofc the amount of red pros and nosebleed games which used to run. I wish those days will comeback but with no one offering high stakes games anymore it seems unlikely.

I've just started on full tilt๐Ÿ˜†
I got an email earlier today about the merge:

We're contacting you to let you know that from April the Full Tilt brand will run on the PokerStars platform. You'll still have The Deal, the Full Tilt avatars you love and, on top of that, you'll get to enjoy the many benefits of extra liquidity, bigger promotions and increased prize pools.

In short, you'll have instant access to the strongest gaming experience around.

Here's a bit more detail on what's happening:

Q: What do you need to do?
A: Nothing for now, just keep doing what you're doing. We're simply letting you know that we're working on the upgrade and it will be with you shortly.

Q: What will happen after the upgrade?
A: Once we make the change, when you log in you'll be prompted to update your software and account. With your new account, you'll have access to the Full Tilt, PokerStars, CasinoStars, BetStars and StarsDraft brands, as applicable in your jurisdiction, via one great platform.

If for any reason you don't want to upgrade to our new platform, you are free to withdraw your funds from your Full Tilt account at any time. For information on how to make a withdrawal click here.

Q: Where can you find more information?
A: You can read our FAQ page here - it contains all the latest information on the software upgrade.

Thank you,

Full Tilt

So back to pokerstars it is๐Ÿ˜‚
I'll stay on Full tilt and try to claim my deposit bonus back ($500) which might take a while as you can only 6 table but to be fair I find the games quite soft overall.
