Hope you get sorted but just to clarify to make your life easier by doing what they've asked.Wether you rent or not,you still get utility bills....id water/gas/elec. The bills are still yours. A basic bank account also has statement facilities and by going online and taking 30 seconds to print one off would save you all this hassle.

Buddy, thanks for the concern, but no, I do not get utility bills, my landlord gets them, my name is not on them.
Why would you suggest otherwise ?

And also, no, I do not get bank statements, paper ones anyways. Perhaps I could try and screen capture one from my internet banking website, and make a document of it.

I just don't see the point of the pokersite putting me through all of this, when they accepted my deposit instantaneously, no questions asked.

I do not own a scanner or a printer. I went to a shop and had them copy both sides of my drivers' licence, and the receipt of my federal income tax, and Bet Victor has refused it, as it is not in colour, lol, and the tax letterhead is from my 2014 return, as I will not be doing my 2015 return until Jan 1st.

So the point is , it looks like they just want to hang on to my $300 CAD for as long as they possibly can.

Any other reasonable opinions on this business ?

As annoying as this is it is pretty much standard practice when it comes to withdraws. I personally have a file on my computer with pictures of my passport, proof of address and anything else like that so when the time comes i can just ship it across....and it does come on every site i use.

Basically by law they have to carry this out. BV would love i am sure to just process it and never have to do any verification as well it would save them spending £100ks per year to hire people to do the security stuff and save them even more time and money when it comes to support on the matter. If they don't follow the rules then it would put everyone's money at jeopardy as they could get booted from Microgaming and even worse stuff from the feds. It sucks i know but they HAVE to do it at this point.

We as the PokerVIP staking group even have to do all this btw so it is not just unique to you and no one is just put through the back door so to speak.

Ways around this

- Try to screenshot your online banking. You can use many programs but try this one.
- Phone your bank and request a paper copy for last months statement. They will supply you with this (it's what i had to do in the end)
- Did you sign anything with your landlord which has the address on? Maybe try that.
- I would be surprised if the black/white documents were not accepted but if this is the case maybe just ask a mate to use his phone? Or even use a digital camera and upload.

Trust me i know it sucks but you will have to verify your account and Shaun who replies on here using the BV name is their top manager and has personally said he will forward it on for you and make it as hassle free as possible. I can vouch for this as that's what he does for us as a staking team.

How is the 30% rakeback calculated ?

Just as an update, I managed to make a pdf of my online banking account homepage, with my home address on it, and forwarded it to the email address above.

I have Pokertracker 4, and every time I start playing on BV and start HUD, It auto import all HH and it takes about 10 min before HUD is available. Anybody else with same problem?

Playing tourney on BetVic 18:00 CET, my tourney table keeps shutting down about 6 times now, wonder if anyone else is experiencing this ?

Also, with the tournament on BetVic, why do they continue playing HandForHand, after the bubble ? Sometime this is done each and every hand !

Same thing today, I had a tourney table and 2 lobbies close, all by themselves, and I just had another tourney lobby close whilst waiting for the start, this was 2 minutes ago.

Yes, I restarted client, no change.

I have not been hearing of any other issues with Betvictor. Best thing to do is try to contact their support direct, maybe they can help?
