Does this seem to be played standard here? Seemed to get into a few of these spots.
Am I to check call flop instead with K spades? He seems to be on the looser size and not folding to cbets too often. But v small hand sample. He could have lesser broadways in his range, but I feel I could get beat up in this situation.

Player 3(SB) $10.95 - VP:30 PFR:30 AF: W: STL:100|100 3B:0| CB: N:0.25 Hands:10
Me(BB) $10.08
Player 5(UTG) $6.06 - VP:0 PFR:0 AF:Inf. W:0| STL:0| 3B: CB: N:0.14 Hands:3
Player 6(MP) $11.31 - VP:32 PFR:27 AF:3.0 W:20|0 STL:56|67 3B:11|50 CB:67|0 N:-3.62 Hands:22
Player 1(CO) $16.81 - VP:20 PFR:10 AF:Inf. W:0| STL:0|50 3B:25| CB:100|100 N:1.75 Hands:10
Player 2(BTN) $10 - VP:43 PFR:29 AF:0.7 W:17|100 STL:100|80 3B:0|0 CB:100|33 N:2.62 Hands:21

Pre Flop: Me(BB) with [Ks,Ac]
Player 5(UTG) folds,
Player 6(MP) folds,
Player 1(CO) folds,
Player 2(BTN) raises 0.20,
Player 3(SB) folds,
Me(BB) raises 0.60,
Player 2(BTN) calls 0.50

Flop: (6d,4s,5s)(2 players)
Pot - 1.45
Me(BB) bets 0.70,
Player 2(BTN) calls 0.70

Turn: 8c (2 players)
Pot - 2.85
Me(BB) checks,
Player 2(BTN) bets 1.80,
Me(BB) folds

Final:
Player 2(BTN) wins 4.51

I don't normally cbet these flops versus what seems to be a looser villain who, as you say, perhaps doesn't like folding to cbets. We have A high of course but that may get us to the river cheaply.
Villain can have anything here on such a co-ordinated board and we can get bluffed off a lot of turns or have to give up anyway. In a 3bet pot from the BB we don't hit that board.

I'd check flop and if villain bets I fold. Ye, I'm a nit I know, I know. Blush

Well I guess if we check we can allow lesser hand to possibly bluff. I think leading out will fold out the lower broadways and keep in the pairs. Which is helping the opponent play their hand correctly, I guess it's not what we want.

I like check calling flop and folding the turn to another bet if we don't hit an A or a K. Like you said only worse hands fold to a cbet on this board but some worse hands will bet if we let them, so we can call that bet and see what happens on the turn.

Yes, how mates said, check flop, vs villain annoying that not like fold to CB i prefer only bet with make hand (TP+), and you have good hand still, check is beter option here, if you want bet flop then you need bet turn too, because this 8 is very dry, not change nothing, you have initiative and you can show hand strong

Think we can 3bet bigger pre but I don't mind this sizing either. Flop seems an okay cbet for me, I've currently been experimenting with smaller sizings and I think this is a really good opportunity to bet like 40% pot on the flop. Turn doesn't really help us so we can't do much but check/fold Smile

Do not bet this flop. It is unfavorable for us and hits villains ranges. Just check fold.
