Kind of a gross spot. I know the open from UTG could be considered slightly marginal for some and maybe the bet sizing wasn't so great.

Can we fold this on the turn after the raise? I don't think so with the straight flush on board. Is folding it on the river too nitty? Am I just a super nit?

Do you have any reads about your opponent? To me this looks like a higher flush, so folding on the river is a fine decision, especially because there is no Ac or Kc on the board. There is no possible straights, and I do not think the villain calls with QT vs UTG raiser from the sb. In my taste raising 89s from UTG is just a little too loose, but I do not think it is a mistake. I believe that many winning players raise that hand occasionally from that position.

nothing significant, only over 27 hands. Ya I think if I had the K or even the Q then maybe it gets closer, but I literally don't beat any other flushes. I highly doubt he is calling from the SB with 4x, 5x, 6x, or 7x of clubs.

With that flop you would have thought he would raise sets on the flop since it is fairly connected, but he raises turn when the flush comes in so I put him on a flush. That's why I am wondering if folding when he raises the turn would be ok or if that is just way to nitty. I guess calling turn is ok, cuz I still have the straight flush draw and that would have been a pretty sweet cooler if he had the Nut Flush and I hit the 6c

Am I seeing the wrong hand? We have KK and the board is run-out makes it impossible to get a flush?

ya posted 2 separate hands and for whatever reason they are getting mixed up. I did them separate on weaktight and in separate threads but they seem to be flip flopping or some kind of wierdness

Once i get to the turn here with KK i think i'm committed to bet calling in a 3bet pot .As played i'm not sure i like folding the river, once you check the turn i think you check to induce and need to call down , preflop though with a raise and call i think id make it more like 1.30 1.40 , 1.05 is good if it's just HU oop.

Hey fawltyfelix, nice job on the flush mate, I could use a few of those myself!

As played I'd be hard pressed to fold the river now after calling the turn, I don't think the J river changes much in this particular case.
