I think our showdown value is strong enough to warrant flat calling. Shoving just blows him off his bluffs, and there's no guarantee he will bet the river so we might yet see a cheap showdown. Or if we bink we can donk the river.

Just call, shoving accomplishes nothing but staking off v sets two pairs and probably jx whichhhh we only have 30% against.

I prefer to get it in on the turn if they are deeper and have a capacity to fold. If they are calling all Jx+ to Q9+ the shove is perhaps a bit wide. We can get it in here vs ATss KQss etc. and read dependent this can be a real good line to get it in put them in a spot where they have to call off with draws that they would fold / check back river with so we actually get it in in as a 65-70% favorite but we are not pressing an equity edge as they are getting the odds to put it in with their draw.

For me it depends what you would do on the river if you don't improve and he fires. If you are calling anyway I think I'd just get it in here and hope get called by draws or you hit river. There is only another like 40% pot left behind anyway if you flat. You might blow him off his bluffs as people say but thats ok as his bluffs will not be without equity and if they bricked he is not triple barrelling with such a tiny bet as has very low fold equity. If he was sizing for a bluff he would have either gone bigger and overbet shoved the turn or smaller to leave a decent river bet.
