Flop bet ok or check call line on this board better?

As played after cbetting the flop, the turn is interesting... On review, I think we can value bet this, correct? We can still get value from AT / QJ / KQ / KT / TJ / 89 / JJ. His range is quite capped as I think 2 pair+ would raise the flop

If villain is aggressive I'd be looking to check this board a lot. He should have way more sets than you and more potential to make straights with stuff like JT T9 98. This board should be quite good for villain. If villain is passive though I'm fine with a bet.

As played I like the turn check/call. The more connected the board gets the worse it is for you but Qx is only moderately bad so continuing is good. By checking you *should* miss value against stuff like Tx but against those hands you're unlikely to get 3 streets of value anyways so giving up 1 street on the turn is fine. His bet with KTo is really bad.

River is good.

I think the flop bet is ok on a rainbow board.
Villains bet on the turn doesn't seem the best here.
I like the check/call on the turn, and the river check is fine too. IMO villain missed a bluff spot Wink
But I think this is played fine overall.

Flop is one of those boards where I would bet in a single raised pot but check in a 3 bet pot. We're also protecting ourself against a tough spot if we get raised or shoved on which could be very often given how well villain's range connects with this board.

Turn play looks good, as well as being super connected now, there's a ton of two pair and set combos which are likely.

I think the flop play is fine but on ranges basis I agree with Turlock. In single raised pot that flop has a lot more 1 pairs and draws he can continue with so would bet. In 3bet pot he either has nothing but overs or strong hands like sets. I'd probably check there. If a K or Q comes we might get some value or a bluff.

As played like the rest of the hand. Very nice discipline with AA. Not just yay Aces, I'm about to win a stack.

On a related note I would always recommend folding vs a guy with 3 hole cards. Superuser status engaged.

I doubt turn is the best play at this limits. A lot of guys are pretty passive which means betting ourselves is often better than attempting to check call. Admittedly the board is somewhat co-ordinated and the turn card is by no means a blank, so we can consider underbetting. It's unlikely we want to invest too much here
