25nl KQ top pair

I don't 3 bet pre as Gonzales is a station! Claudio is what Doug Polk would call a 'bad reg'!

My thoughts were that he is screaming a set! Once I overcall flop he thinks 'one of these must have a decent piece I need to lead my set for max value'

Looks like an easy fold on the river to me, I would not fault you for finding a fold on the turn as I'm not expecting too many bluffs at these stakes once he cbets into 2 players on the flop.

About pre flop, you say Gonzales is a station, are we talking huge station? If so I think there's a lot of value 3betting KQ here if you think they are calling with KJ QT Q9 KT K9 etc. I'd defo be 3betting if he's the kind of call 3bets with a ride range.

Well not a complete maniac but probs calling around 50%! It's fine thinking of when we dominate his junk but the majority of the time we are going to be pairless oop in a 3 bet pot..........

With a 50% call rate I'd be 3betting KQ here. Would not worry too much if we are pair-less against this type of player OOP, can always cbet on good boards and barrel if we pick up equity or fold.

Am interested to see what others think about 3betting for value though.

If he's calling really wide then 3 betting is great. Let him pay you with dominated top pair second pair type hands. With a caller already in the pot squeezing is a must though, these offsuit hands don't overcall well, particularly OOP.

As played I like your line. We never expect him to bluff air for three streets, nor turn any showdown value into a bluff. Calling stations tend to be passive types too, making this an easy fold.

Perfect spot and hand to squeeze vs these player types for the reasons stated above.

As played call turn fold river looks fine, don't expect villain to be leading turn and river with anything worse than KQ.
