Player is unknown but looks reggish from small sample size.

My question is the turn, are we betting or checking? At the time I felt like betting because we can't call a bet if checked, however, we're deep and I really don't expect villain to fold anything on the turn that called the flop.

Are both options fine?

I am player 9, I have J10

Blinds$0.25/$0.505
UTG Player4 $53.60
CO Player7 $217.93
D Player8 $55.50
SB Player9 $92.88
BB Player1 $103.93[/divbox]
Preflop
5$0.75
3 folds, Player9 raises to $1.50, Player1 calls $1
Flop
2$3Q42
Player9 bets $2.25, Player1 calls $2.25
Turn
2$7.508
Player9 bets $5.75, Player1 calls $5.75
River
2$199
Player9 bets $13, Player1 calls $13
Final Pot$45
Player9 shows TJ

Player9 wins $42.75 (net +$20.25)
Player1 lost $22.50

I think this is a spot where you should either bet once or 3 times. Most hands that called flop will be calling on turn but you should have a small amount of FE against stuff like A-highs. By the river you can often get him to fold any mid pairs which should make up a decent chunk of his range. I would expect this to be better than x/f since you'll sometimes be folding with 10 outs against weaker parts of his range and that's not great.

If you're looking for non-fd bluffs on the turn this actually might be the best candidate. Strong TP blockers + semibluff equity seems like a good way to go.

Betting three looks a standard line if you think villain has a fold button.

How do you feel about possibly us not barreling enough turns if we check/fold what is likely two overcards with a gutshot to a lot of villain's range?

Are you bothered about balance in these games? If we only barrel flush draws and Qx it feels like we're not being aggressive enough
