Anon. I think a standard defend here. I checked flop to let him cbet the A-high board. I think if we lead he's folding his bluffs and we miss value. Good spot to c/r here? When he 3Bets flop should we 4Bet jam or play it the way I did and call and let a turn card come off? It may not always be best to just call his 3Bet on the flop and let another card come off that may kill our hand - better to get it in on a wet flop like this to maximize value?

I think u should always XR that flop, no reason for lead, if he has any Ax i believe he is going to have a hard time folding, probably some good Aces are going to just 3bet/gii some draws too, i think you should go for max value from good draws and good aces, i would 4bet him there, just cause like u said a lot of cards that can kill our action, any heart, A, also 4/7.

Yeh this hand is a masterpiece and exactly how you should play this hand from start to finish imo

Preflop fine.

Yeah, check/raise flop, but partly because his flop sizing (and pf sizing were so small). Against larger preflop and flop action we should consider a flop x/c.

Vs 3bet we just call, 4betting is an overplay at these limits. It's not as if players go around 3betting the flop with gutshots in general, we are often up against a value-range of 2pair+, which obviously means we are not in great shape with bottom 2.

So from this point onwards we are kinda looking to play a x/c or x/decide game on the turn and river. X/jam turn is in all reality probably an overplay at this limit, it's just fortunate that villain has a problem with his eyesight and figured he had the straight.
