Do we have a good spot here to bet our draw and rep the J to try and get him to lay down Tx?

If you bet turn I would be thinking you are wanting to rep JT 89 but you need to follow through on rivers. I think betting turn is better than checking it back to improve... Betting turn and betting river gives us a lot more options to win the pot than checking it back and hoping to improve or be good at showdown.

If we bet the turn I'd like to go and bet the river on a bunch of good cards if we don't make our hand (JQKA), otherwise I'd go and check behind. I like betting as it gives us more ways to win the hand and UTG does not look so strong given flop sizing and turn check.

Betting is good though you have to be mindful of the fact that you should follow up on a bunch of cards. The one cool side-effect of betting this turn in position is the fact that on the bad cards you do not want to bet you'll most likely have the chance to realize your small amount of showdown value (in case of villain also drawing and missing).
