5NL 6Max 2's Full?

Posted 8 years ago

I tried the replayer here-message reads it isn't supported (probably the WPN format).

Finally a hand to post! Honestly, I have no idea with this hand and after I folded it felt wrong given the action. Looking back on it just now I just don't know...

Any thoughts or comments on any aspect of my play here are appreciated.

Thanks ahead!

It is an odd spot as you led the turn, was flatted, led the river and was raised so your hand looks like a straight and not a full house so once villain raises he knows that and knows you won't fold so I think this is a good laydown!

I wouldn't expect villain to raise so big on the river with a straight, even if he's targeting random 6x for trips. So as you have the worst full house and no read that he bluffs enough folding looks good to me.

I'm not sure that leading out on the turn is best though. I'm really hating life if we get raised because we don't know if he's fighting back against the out of rhythm bet or has a better hand.
