Marginal spot, if I call the turn bet I'd want to go ahead and call every river that does not complete a draw. I can't really see any value hands asides from Tx that check the flop to bet the turn.

I can see Tx often in his range. If you decide to call, best case scenario is you hit an 8 or you bluff him off the hand when a straight of a flush is completed. But those are long shots.

Yes we can call the turn. River will be interesting to play. After we have called the turn we are almost at the bottom of our range so i guess i would fold to river bet and call the Jx i got.

They could semi-bluff with a straight draw (KQ, Q9, 98) or a medium-strength flush draw, in which case we can hope for a showdown. But it's actually the size of the bet which probably means value, although I don't know how much merit we should give to it. We also checked twice, so them betting strong with a random hand in an attempt to steal the pot is not impossible. What we do depends a lot on our opponent, I would say. What did you do?

I folded turn. I guess I could've called turn and hope to see a free SD since he jerked back flop. I imagine Jx, draws bet that flop and not check back. Stabs come into play when the flopnis checked back and yeah he could have Tx in his range that he didn't bet flop. However, without reads and facing a PSB, I'm guessing at best. This is a thin spot that i would rather play against someone with reads, not an unknown.

Interesting hand, though. I'd probaly have the same thought process and fold as well.
