I've never played heads up, but I'm sure this is a 3 bet for value, mainly because of what worse hands he will call you with rather than his 4 bet/stack off range. At most stakes I suspect AQ is a stack off pre here, but I'm not totally sure how the smallest micros play pre flop when getting it in.

How much 4 betting do you experience in these games?

3 betting here and two good streets of value should be a lot better than playing a small pot without initiative.

If we call pre it is to call a lot of flops with AQ high. We cant call and check / fold T36r / K95.

3b pre I think simplifies being OOP. If you can size it to make it a 2 street game it reduces the benefits of them having the button, so if we 3b to say 0.70, there is 1.4 in the middle allowing for a 1.1 cbet and turn shove for 3.07 effective, or we can check and peel AQ high etc.

It was 3 handed and one fold ? its a 3bet for value though. In a'lot of HU games AQ would be in your stack off range its not like a bvb situation in 6 max, its going to be far more aggressive in a pure HU game.

Take into consideration that these are 6 max players at a table that has broken and that they're ranges probably don't adjust accordingly and play it as if this was a full 6 max table that had been folded around.


The positions in the HH seem to be wrong as'well or am i missreading it ?.

HH never works on here for me , i use flop turn river HH converter and copy and paste with stats , then it converts you can copy and paste to here then and edit it accordingly.

I would treat it like a full 6 max table , when tables break these players don't adjust ranges accordingly , so id be 3betting for value and playing it the same as i usually would in a 6 max bvb situation..
