pt4 ftw.

also, is there an edit option for forum posts?

EDIT: Seems the OP can't be edited

I'd play it the same. When he raises flop he can have several worse hands including 2-pair, sets and draws, all of which the straight is doing great against. His raise was pretty big so the stack to pot ratio gets smaller and with so little money relative to his raise behind getting it in on the flop should be much better than calling to get it in on the turn.

They are not full stacked so look fishy, which means they can sometimes over play two pairs, over pairs and sets in this spot. If they were 100bb I'd call their flop raise instead of getting it in, but as played I think it's fine.

Not a lot else you could have done really.

Villain is a bit fishy, and even though that does mean he will have more flush combos in his range, it also means he will do random things with pair plus diamond and the usual sets/2 pair combos

Well, I'm happy to say my thinking was spot on in this case it seems. Cheers guys for the feedback.
