Heyooo!

Did I play this ok? I figured check/calling would be better than bet/folding?

I would go for the bet/fold line on the river. There aren't really any draws I expect villain to bluff on the river and I don't think he's often betting worse for value when you check. Villain shouldn't be value betting worse than 3 of a kind on this river, and even that might be thin (plus its near impossible to have) so that leaves straight+ for value that you chop with at best.

AhXx has TP and is probably not playing its kicker on the river so I don't expect that to get if villain knows what he's doing but you might get a call out of it if you throw in a small-medium bet. Same goes for some 2-pair hands and maybe (I might be a bit optimistic) you get a crying call from Kx.

Thanks @Komododragonjesus! Very insightful

As played, is my river call correct given the price? I'm guessing we fold the straight to larger sizing?

Its a bit of a silly spot now because I just argued that he isn't likely betting worse for value and probably doesn't have too many bluffs :D. I'd say you have to be really sure of that to make the fold though so yeah, getting 3:1 call but I'd only be moderately happy about it.

I completely agree with @Komododragonjesus, we should be betting this river. As played I'd definitely call especially vs. sizing.

Have to agree on going for bet fold, vs 2 pair type hands and such, so we ensure value from worse and the fold to better. We don't want him to check behind with worse than can call our bet.
