That is a pretty gross runout. I don't think the turn is a bet/fold, I'd bet, maybe a little bigger than you did not expecting most players to be folding Ax just yet and probably call a raise, obviously not loving it but not being ready to fold.

We have to check the river I think and almost always check/fold unless our opponent bets a really small amount like 1/3 pot or something.

I'd bet something like 80c on the turn, any diamond/gutshot 2-pairs etc can call me. On that river I'd bet around 1/3 pot and fold if villain gets busy, they most likely wont with 2pair or an underset on that board.

I used to look at boards like this and assume a Jx then take the 'safer' line only to find they had something like AT or or whatever and would pay me. They can call down here with lots more than that.

I can bet much thinner than that these days on a 'going day' though. Laugh

I'd be betting the flop and turn a lot bigger, perhaps around 80% to get value, it's quite a wet board. But once that turn hit I'd be slowing down a tiny bit. River I hate c-f so I'd go ahead and b/f around 35% pot to get calls from Ax, two pairs, don't expect to get bluff raised.

I would be betting bigger on the flop (38) and turn (half pot is not enough as others have said ~ 80% pot would be better imo) and betting thin on the river like 40% pot. Most of what he has here is some Ax. Diamonds are unlikely given turn action, as is JT or Jx unless he has AJ. I would be betting to get value from Ax. If we bet river and they shove it is a fold. They are not bluffing here if they do.

I bet river because at this point from turn they have Ax and if we are fortunate 99 / AT and are not therefore betting the river as a bluff if we check, and if they have AT 99 they are likely calling a river bet so it is better to bet. KdQx also check back river I think rather than trying to bluff.

From the villains pov does the half pot turn bet not look weak.
I think the villain just calling the small turn bet rather than raising suggest to me Ax. or two pair.
I think a bet on river to get called by Ax or two pair.
