5NL - TT

No reads, anon. Tough spot here, I think my only plan was to bet/fold the turn. When that happened I figured I could still be ahead, but this board is so dangerous that I figured betting was better than checking and hoping for SD. Bad plan? Should my turn bet be larger? Was my river bet bad as a blocking/get thin value from a hand he can't fold?

I would prefer a check raise honestly and if i was going to lead I would lead higher amounts on every street.

@StratoMan C/r flop, barrel turn and river on those cards?

C-f flop is good to get stacks in now as they are the aggressor, if you're donking, donk closer to pot on that board.

Once they flat you on the turn I do like the river bet as I'm expecting for them to have TP or an over pair.

Usually check/raise flop is good here unless we know that his cbetting frequency will be low.

Small bets on the turn and river work fine. The larger they get, the less value we extract and the lower our EV in most cases. I'd even consider making smaller bets across turn and river here. Alternative lines include checking turn with the intention to check/call (remember that we still have 20% equity with our boat draw and a reasonable bluff-catcher to go with it), and if villain checks back turn we go for a small value bet on the river with our set.
