First hand v this villain. Takes his time x/c on flop and leads small on turn.

Call and re-evaluate or fold and move on, even though the price is cheap? What range do you construct for villain here?

It apparently cut off my post and won't let me edit. Let's try this again...

I think I'd start off with a call. Definitely don't want to raise and re-open the action with a mediocre hand folding seems too tight given the less than 1/3 pot sized bet. Not entirely sure what range I'd give him, though I'd assume it was stronger if he bet bigger. I can imagine he has some nutted hands but also some pairs putting in a blocking bet because they're afraid of the flush. You should do ok against those pairs. You could see some bluffs as well though there shouldn't be a ton of them if he's calling tight on the flop.

If you end up seeing showdown here, take a note with what he showed up with and adjust accordingly in the future.

I think this is an easy call for the sizing, never raising though. If it comes a club on the river or he massively ups the heat with a big sizing on the river I'll be giving it up. Its not ideal I know. A lot of the time though I think you get to showdown quite cheaply and win vs a semi bluff. Will be a really interesting note to take as well if he donk bluffs small or donk value bets small.

I wouldn't be folding for that size bet. Absolutely no need to raise though to give him the chance to do something mad with Ac if we out kick him.

If he bets more than half pot on the river I'm still folding. Once you call his turn lead if he's done this with less than top pair and a club I would expect him to check to you rather than trying to push you off an ace.

Yep thanks all. Good and straight forward advice. I've been paying off when beaten so often lately that even the easy decisions have started to become tough.
