AKo in NL4

Villain is a regular on my tables... 2k hands, 23/17/40

I annoyed him with lots of 3bets and 4bets this afternoon. He has a 4bet range of only 0.7%, but I could not let go of my AK as I thought he might start to fight back sometime...

my reasoning for the way i played:
the bet on the flop is sooooo small that he is either incredible strong or super weak. so i called with the plan to fold on the turn if he double barrels
after check check on the turn I thought that he could only have AK or worse. every AA and KK would keep on betting the turn, every AhKh should.

So my plan was to get him of AK because i did not want to chop I bet only half pot because this looks stronger than a shove and if he was slowplaying me on the turn i would not lose my whole stack..... good idea or bad idea??

We have a decent sample on the guy and he's four betting outrageously narrow. Pre I think peeling is fine given his size, but I'm happy to go ahead and let this go on the flop. I don't agree that everyone will continue to barrel here with AA/KK (I agree that they SHOULD, but people are way too nitty overall post flop in my experience in micro limit games)

Vs any kind of normal players I just rip in in preflop here but against this player we should be a lot more conservative of course.

Perhaps contrarily to popular opinion, I would let this go preflop a lot of the time versus this particular villain type. Seems nitty but we're getting 4bet by a Fort Knox range from early position and we're out of position for the entirety of the hand.

I would suggest that even if we hit our A or K we can't be entirely confident we're not getting crushed and then there's also the problem of getting paid off of course.

I think the SB is a good seat to let go of it this time.

Just my thought.
