AKo top 2pr in Multiway Pot

Posted 3 years ago

Hi -I have been playing on and off for some while now with no success at all. I have been crying out for help so that I can at least do better but I am now at 80k hands and losing 50BI's.
I dont know where to post nowdays to get feedback et al as even 2+2 is a shadow of its former self and how would I know who to listen to or not. Most of the best forums where you can post HH's are in subscription sites like Upswing etc.
I dont live in a poker community, I dont know any poker players to be able to feed off. I cannot afford coaching or Solvers and their like.
I dont consider myself a fish or even a weaker player. I watch videos from good players(their stake might not be relevant to how it plays at my stakes, but even so I feel I learn something everytime. I read lots of articles and revisit my days play, so whilst I am not a grinder by any stretch I try to play at least semi seriously.
I do not know how I can move forward in this game lately and my confidence is draining as I cant seem to turn it round. If there is anyone lurking who can give me a little help that would be great.
Here is a hand that seems to sum up my poker.

Its not the winning or losing of the hand its just that it seems highly unlikely that I end the outsider of 3 in a pot where I have nut advantage.
Preflop is standard, on the flop I have nut advantage only beaten by pocket 5's. Perhaps I should have bet bigger on the flop with that advantage but the result would probably be the same. The player in the cutoff was a complete unknown with 0 hands at zoom on him. The big blind was a really splashy player who I have info on, in that he cold calls 4 bets with QJo and open donk shoves TP or draws. I feel I simply have to call against him even though I have a player behind me as he could easily have AQo. Whether I should flat or shove doesnt make any difference with stack sizes, I know immediately the player behind called I was dead.

A hundred views and no takers, there are people here but no posters, my last thread was 1370 views and no answers.

I made a mistake here too in exposing my screen name, probably get people coming after me now knowing I am the worlds worst player. If only I knew how to delete this thread so that not everyone can target me on Stars now.
