Sorry guys, this hand would not embed on here or in weak tight format so here it is.

12 players left in said tournament, I'm sitting comfortable around 2nd or 3rd in chips with 65bbs, I have a bounty that would earn billain an extra $25, I've just been moved to a new table which has the big stack on it, no reads only played about 4 hands.

Villain has 195bbs and opens the BTN, I'm BB and opt to flat for obvious reasons.

Flop and turn are standard IMO, river I think its too nitty to simply check call even though its quite a large bet. Im playing to win so would like to be taking spots to get max value.

So the question is do we jam to get max value from his 2 pair, will he call all of those 2p if we jam?

Can we min raise fold which basically guarantees calls from all 2p, then we still have 20bbs left to work with if he comes back over the top of the min click?

I put this range in eq lab [AA,99,44-33,AQs,A9s,A4s,AQo,A9o,A4o] - 2pairs & sets vs AQ on R and you got 53.84% vs 46.16% .If you add a hand like 52s the equity reverse in his favor. So i think it's a call .No way i would min raise fold ,it's a call or shove .

in regards to ICM im just making the Call. Think i will start c/r set. Min/click muck sounds so very explo and not a play i would consider either.

Think raising is a must and we can certainly get value from worse here especially in an $11 PKO! Also if you cover you always gotta go for it all in such spots

If we raise and loose we will have no chance of winning the tournament. If we just call and loose we still will have a good spot with an average stack to finish high up. If we raise and win instead of call and win we will have 400k instead of 300k which wont raise your ICM that much. Im not the best at ICM and havent run trough a calculator but thats just my quick calcs that go trough my brain at the table.

So if its not a clear cut VR im taking the safer route here. Problem i see with raising is we will have very few good bluffing hands here so dont think he will call down light.

I really am making too many ICM mistakes and not valuing my tournament chips as I should be that's for sure.

Having said that as an exploitative line here / one that will not come up often enough for someone to take advantage, don't you think min click here to sqz out extra value from all 2p would be fine. He might even just flat the worse sets that 99+, if he jams were always beat anyways and we would still have 20bbs to work with which would be enough to manoeuvre a little?

I suppose this applies to what you said Nick in previous post about 300k or 350k, calling and losing and having 30bbs is way better than min clicking losing and having 20bbs, but I still do like the idea

I would just call here OTR. I doubt he really calls two pairs vs a river ch/raise....

Ofcourse, the stupid thing is though that I called pre for the same reason's that I should have just called the river!

I think everyone has been there ... (Insert meme of someone with a thought bubble) "top 3 in chips, guy covers me play a small pot" ... "I think I will check shove this river..."
