Hello, Ben Middleton here to analyse some of your hhs

Posted 7 years ago

Hello everyone

My name is Ben Middleton and I have been a high stakes plo pro for a number of years. For those unfamiliar with me I play as kittyKatmeow on mpn network and pandapokie on sky and was one of the biggest winners on both networks last year I believe. I am a specialist in hu plo tho played a good deal of 6max too so don't be afraid to ask a line check in a ring game. Give me your most interesting hands Smile

I remember it so well because I was sat there minding my own business and heard a northernish English accent....the main reason why I remember it Laugh

Hi Ben,

This is purely a river sizing question, given a check on river caps villain to big pairs , but more than likely not AA, can we go bigger on river, or is this max value, not a spot you see all that often so unsure of how greedy we can be

2nd hand, and then I won't bug you again, bb is 48/17, sb is a reg, pre is fairly standard, on flop given bet, jam, action top and bottom is a fold, or is stack to pot such, that two pair is two strong to do anything but get in and hope for the hold??

Hand 2 pretty happy getting it in with two pair there. Hand 1 you prob choose a good sizing as you don't have much of a bluffing range i suspect. vs a rec you should prob go bigger.

Hi,

what kind of cbet strategy do you use on these kind of boards when we are OOP and have 3bet. I think its so easy for them to float and raise alot with pairs ,str8draws, fd etc. I dont want to bet/fold to often either. Today I check ca90% and c/c and c/r because i think its hard to play a balanced cbet range that can get to SD alot. Whats your thoughts on that?

That texture slightly favours the caller so would Cbet a mor, epolarized range and ch a decent amount.

Care to elaborate? This hand for example where would you put it? When you say polorized do what type of bluff hand do you use?

I'd c/c this hand and evaluate turn. Your bluffs will be hands like kqjt without hearts or akq7 no hearts.
