Haha yes it is!

Once you get 4bet it's time to fold AQo even if you're 200bb deep as your hand is really not that strong and you don't have position.

Flop is the only part of me that thinks calling isn't so bad but I think I still fold. Okay we have a backdoor flush but if the turn comes a club and they bet again the pot is already like $60+ and we'll have to call a shove or near shove so I'd just go ahead and fold the flop.

River shove also is a spew as every draw on the flop missed and we rep pretty thin.

Yeah normally i fold the AQ to a 4bet , when i looked back this was the thing i looked at, would have saved me alot 😊

But the thing was that he had been 4 betting me in the samespot before a couple of times.

At the point one the river i was just so sure he had AK and tried to push him off a split , even if i rep very little 😊

Oh well, shit happens 😂 I'll stick to my standard next time ( maybe 😇 )

OOP with AQo isn't great, just fold personally unless you think the guy is a total wacko.

With a call on the flop... we're not sure what we're looking for against his potential perceived range. If he has AK then is an A good? If we hit a Q and he has a big pair AA or KK then is that good?

But it seems you know in hindsight that it's a bit of an error so no worries. I know it can get annoying when you feel someone is 4 betting too much, but sometimes they just pick up a few hands. I still don't mind folding. And if you get too much trouble then move tables, but at least the guy is to your right.

These are the mistakes that can kill your win rate.

What was villain's 4 bet range overall? If it's a lot then calling rather than 3 betting pre will be good,if not much then 3 bet/folding is good. I don't think I'm ever calling a 4 bet OOP with AQ here though

I just call AQo pre here, built a pretty nice SB call range for this to fit into. AP I don't actually hate it as much as others do buttttt, I think we actually get to SD v his bluffs. That being said I think he has a bunch of baby axs so may be good to get him to fold those.

I think the call pre is fine. His 4bet was pretty small and AQ is almost definitely in the top portion of your 3betting range that needs to be defended vs 4bet or else you're overfolding.

Flop is good turn is good.

River your line is really odd and if I was villain I probably wouldn't fold AK. Nobody really mixes their strategy with high pairs here preflop so you probably have very few big value combos like JJ+. So then what do you have for value? 99-TT? That you overbet?

I do think villain played the hand really odd as well. Turn is basically the nut turn to bet with his high pairs and for some reason he didn't take your last $7 on the river.

I like it espesially if you are playing 3bet/fold strategy from the SB. You are massively overfolding if you fold AQ. (Obviously assuming villain can 4bet bluff here.) I'd play my whole continuing range as a call vs the 4bet 200bbs deep to keep my range uncapped.

Edit (pressed submit too early):

Postflop I like your line. Cannot fold on the flop and river I'd either jam to max the FE vs splits or go smaller if V is a showdown nit.
