BB is a Reg with a 15% 3b. His range feel's like 99 or 88 when he c/c here so we could just triple barrel but his 88 or 99 blocks the straight and we can have a lot of bluffs and semi-bluffs so he may just hero call us down?

Villan also has a river call efficiency of 0.8 and WTSD 34

I'm not sure if defending this pre is a good idea, but when it comes to the postflop I like your line. I'd either go for one bet or bet/bet/bet here for the same reason - villain should be fairly capped when he's not betting this board texture and given the info you provided I slightly prefer just one barrel.

I'm really not sure what you're doing here pre. I can't imagine this will be profitable even with a decent postflop edge. Postflop is ok I think though even betting flop when checked to is loose if he has any sort of x/c range. If you bet bet bet this hand then nobody should be folding to you, ever. I don't expect many players to pick up on that though.

You should 4bet or fold rather than flatting here, K9o does not play well even 4-way.

Flop bet is okay to get them to fold all high card hands that don't' contain clubs. Giving up totally once called.

Folding pre would make this alot easier for ourselves. I don't see any reason to defend. Sizing is small but K9o is utter trash. Think if we decide to bet flop we have to bet slightly bigger aswell, half pot on a monotone board just screams for calls. On the turn brick I'm giving up aswell but i strongly believe we shouldn't even have been in this situation.

Thanks for some great advice! I'm calling the K9o defend a meta play so he doesnt 3b me so much, or at least that's my excuse Wink

But tbh I'm not too sure exactly how to defend by calling OTB. I have a few regs 3betting SB and BB vs BTN 15-25%. What sort of calling ranges would you advise or could you point me in the right direction to study this myself? I've already implemented an aggressive 4b strategy and they've started calling 4b's with some strong broadways.

I agree wth what the guys said before, this is just an easy fold preflop. Once you do call I guess firing one bullet is okay, if you're going to fire once and give up I'd make it a bit bigger, 2.7 maybe.

4betting lots is good. Calling suited broadways vs 4bets is getting to be standard among many players since those hands have decent equity and 4bets are typically pretty small these days. If players are 3betting that much and not folding to 4bets you can just expand your 4bet value range by taking some of the strongest hands you flat and 4bet them for value instead.

You can also start to flat a ton in position which it looks like you're doing here with K9o. It's a good idea but I think the hands you're choosing are a bit off. I'd rather defend something like 64s than K9o. If you plug then into any equity calculator you'll see they have basically the same equity against 15% and suited connected hands will typically allow for more aggressive semibluffing opportunities which should be great against someone with a wide range.

This is yuck sorry.

Pre flop you should fold or maybe 4 Bet depending on villains stats in such spots.

Post flop bet the turn or river or both. Going to showdown with K9 here is not a winning proposition.
