Hey thought id post a hand i just played very uncertain about how to continue. I think pre and flop plays itself

Turn i bet when they both check around again. Think their ranges are capped at weak top pair at best.

I river the K. Since my thought process was that this guys range is capped to Tx and weaker pairs. and random Ax floats. I decide to jam to make it look bluffy and make him call.

If i would change one thing i think i should bet like 1/3rd pot river to get sure value from Tx. I had marked this guy as a fish for some reason tho so i went for "thin value jam"

What do you think?

i dont know is turn stab ok,, but as played it is ok vs a fish which sb apparently is

Tbh i think the turn stab is mandatory when it checks around twice. We have 6 outs to improve and they have show no interest in the pot.

with over cards and backdoors up the whazoo on that board im c betting, turn barrel is alright i guess, checking back riv though as played.

Not loving the turn bet, expecting a bunch of PP to call here and maybe even AK/AQ when the 2 pairs, would just be giving up against 2 other players.

Can't see any worse hands calling our river bet.

Hehe ty guys. A lot of different answers. River bet is bad at least. Reconsidering turn barrel aswell.

IMO with a 3b pre and even in a 3 way pot the main mistake is not c betting here in position.

- It's 6T2 rainbow.
- We have overcards and some pretty decent backdoors/barrel cards
- We can double barrel on all queens, aces and nines.
- We can comfortably double barrel then check back turned kings and jacks, and call a bunch of rivers. (Or just check these on turn for pot control)
- Not to mention that anything that isn't a ten or better has to pretty much fold vs our c bet given that it's multi way, and even if we get called by Tx or 77 through 99 we still have a bunch of equity/opportunity to put these in very awkward spots on a lot of runouts. (Also, results here main villain just pitches AKo on the flop, I mean I'm not sure even the stickiest of players are just going to blindly peel a CB with A high, OOP, with a player to act behind, vs an uncapped range)
- Betting flop also pretty much buys us a free river if we choose to just check back turn in flow.
- Also, I'd imagine sb probably doesn't flat 66 or 22 to a 3b so there really aren't a whole lot of sets to be had out there so getting check raised here is going to happen super rarely, especially that it's a rainbow desert.

I'm sure there are a bunch of arguments against this and I haven't actually crunched any ranges for this spot yet but it almost seems like this is a board/spot where we should just be continuing with range on the flop? Could probably use pretty uniform sizing with all our hands too, just smash out 30-35% and print.

@blainetoms

you have to consider that sb i cold calling 3bet oop from the sb..and that he is not 100bb deep..i am x otf, turn stab is debatable, and obv firing the river vs the sb fish we have psb behind

I can see my self cbetting here a portion of our KJ hands. Its a very dry flop and we have some good barrel oppertunities.

I really dont like the turn stab. You rep super thin, like some weakish Tx which we will have very few off. Think its fine to only bet FD and the rare occasion we have a gutter that didnt fire flop. Stabbing more than that will be to unbalanced towards bluffs in a spot where we rep thin and both their ranges contains plenty of SD value hands that dont want to VB (77-99, AJ-AK and some T9s 65s etc)

Getting to the river with 1 SPR left i think we have a easy shove. We still dont rep much and we crush his cc range on the turn.

I'd cbet KJcc or KJss here but not KJo, think you played flop fine. Turn stab isn't horrendous as they have all checked to you, however players calling ranges are always wider than their betting ranges. In SRP you can def stab a lot more. Devson concerns me with his cold call pre and this is weighted more towards pairs which might not fold to your turn stab.
