Not a HU expert but I think this is fine. Starting tables players are usually really aggro so without knowing anything about villain I'd assume he'll be a bit looser than average in lots of spots.

I have no idea if you want to be 3betting this hand pre.

Postflop it's a spot where you want to be bluffing sometimes and Ad it the best bluff. Combined with the gutshot I think it makes a pretty happy shove.

I'm also not an expert on HU which prevents me from giving you a quality opinion on the preflop play, but as for the post flop, I think you flopped just enough outs to do what you did, since if you want to have any kind of bluffing frequency here this is precisely the kind of hand you should be building it with.

I wouldn't 3 bet this hand type pre being OOP after the flop.

As played you should have enough pot equity and fold equity for it never to be a big mistake.

Calling preflop probably fine, although hard for it to be -EV given that it's HU.

Again hard for postflop to be super -EV, might even be the best play. Certainly ok in theory. Assuming the guy is not playing hyper-aggressive, we probably have no fold-equity with a 3bet making just calling the flop raise a superior line given no dynamic.
