How would you play it? Would you even call on the flop against this villain multiway?

Calling the flop is thin, no doubt, but villain may still c bet his decent Ax, flush draws and 54s. But 46% is low. Personally I would call, but folding can't be bad. Don't be worried about folding too often at 10NL.

On the turn I like how you made is less than half pot as we're not really getting value, just betting for protection. You can make this as little as $1.

Once he leads the river folding is fine.

I think this line is good and we cannot fold for one, turn we could find a fold but with draws out I would be more inclined to call. River is a must fold but no shame in that. I think you did everything correct here.
