Anon v reggish table but they aint great.

Trying to plug those leaks, but so many, oh so many!

#1. First, just to make sure, may I assume the set mine is ok given stacks, position etc.?
#2. Did I miss value on the river or is the chk bh ok?

Thing is I didn't think anyonw was strong so went for a stab at it, got one caller and a scare card on turn.
If I put villain on something like a flush draw this K hits his range somewhat, although I rather think he may be Ax strong more often.

I bet again and got called and thought I should bet thin river, say 30% and fold to raise obviously.

It's one of those I think I should but not sure and haven't got the cahoonas to guess so I chk.

What do you guys think?

Thanks.

As a set mine you can't imagine a better scenario than deep on the BTN. No need to be second guessing yourself there. But 88 is probably on the cusp of having enough post flop playability that you can call for more than set odds anyway.

I like your smaller than half pot bet for protection on the flop.

On the turn I'm leaning towards checking, as we have that middling showdown value but very little worse ever calls.

If we check and he bets the river it's tough, but I would lean towards making a tight fold as micro players won't turn smaller pairs into a bluff often enough, and there's only missed flush draws left really.

As you bet the turn, I would be checking behind on the river. There can't be much value betting 3 streets with 2 overcards on the board.
