Annoying hand... vs unknown but seemingly fishy from limping etc.
I check back the flop for a bit of pot control and such, although should this just be a bet anyway with the FD out there?
What is this random x/r on the blank turn? Is this always a hand like 33?
Just wasn't sure about what to make of this hand. Made the fold anyway...

Yuk. I'm terrible vs these sort of guys. They should be super profitable but I still end up losing to them. I think a lot of that is because I don't believe them when they tell me a story that they have got a made hand. He limp calls, checks flop, x/r turn and pots river. I might bet flop here, with position I can decide how many streets to go for and I don't feel I need to X TP to defend my checking range vs this guy. He can call with diamonds, Jx, 7x, 98 etc, probably a load of small PP's as well.

As played I'm calling the min raise, even if it is a lot of value hands as he could be making a move vs the check on the flop. When he pots the river I'd find the fold. Again it could be a big bluff as your range is really pretty capped when you don't cbet flop or 3bet turn you basically can't have anything strong

From MP our friend can be limping a bit stronger range quite often as is the case from UTG, as opposed to in later positions or the blinds. We don't know that here obviously and looking at the players to act I like the iso, the BB can tag along if they like, pff.

Flop v virtual unknown I cbet 2/3 pot all day, there're loads of draws and worse can call us.

Turn is a blank, I bet again, 2/3 pot again is plenty and see what the river brings. If I get raised now I fold, there's nothing I can draw to to feel confident I'm winning if I hit it.

I'd snap/fold the river, turn me over I'm cooked this side. villain has loads of better TP adn 2P combos and ofc a few combos of sets. We have A with vitually no kicker.

Nice fold imo and didn't hurt much.

Mostly fine, but there is not a great reason to slowplay the flop against a weaker player. We have top pair, it's worth two streets of value, and there are draws out there. We should go for this immediately despite the possibility that we may occasionally be outkicked.

When we know we only want two streets of value it's generally better to just bet twice. Not only do we make sure we get the value from any draws on flop and turn, but by calling down we lose control over how much money goes into the pot if villain bets small and a raise is really out of the question with our hand strength.

Another problem when we have no kicker is that most villains at 10NL won't double barrel turn and river as a bluff so the river call is often going to be bad even with top pair.Betting just keeps it simple and avoids a few problems.
