Anon, BU is a tag and utg is having fun.

I played bet/fold on the river but I think it was a mistake 3 handed, just about everything got there. I also think after the reg calls I needed to be a bit careful, but wasn't paying enough attention maybe.

What do you guys think about this line in this situation, I think it was a bit spewy.

Not sure if I like the raise on the turn, our sizing gives them such sick odds to come along. Think I'd rather flat and see a river, not to happy to start bloating a pot here with 2nd pair top kicker. River is a pretty gross spot, The FD arrives but QT was there already anyways so it's not the worst for us, and we beat some other random two pair type of hands now.

Think I like call turn bet/fold river a lot more Smile

Hi guys

Imo turn raise is fine, we have to extract value from utg's wide range + protect our hand. I would make it slightly bigger like half pot or something cuz I think we have the best hand here quite frequently after the reg checked the flop behind.

River is an ugly card indeed... I think check/folding and bet/folding are both fine. We can bet/fold if you want I guess given the fact that we still have the fish in the pot, but I do not like your sizing. If anything, I would bet 1/4 or 1/3 pot and instafold to every raise as they will never bluff us and when you are raised it is always a flush. Slightly better to just check/fold this river imo.

Turn I would just call and take it as a check. If you think you can get value then you should be raising it more than 5bb, closer to 11b is about right.

River bet fold is fine, don't think we're ever ahead once raised here.

Ok, I had an inkling it might go like that.

Thank you very much everybody. Smile

I agree mostly with the things previously said and I just want to add that you could cbet that flop. It's not very connected and it's rainbow, also the king hits your range more than the BTN's. I'd just take a shot at the pot on the flop sometimes, 8 BB is fine IMO.

From looking at this. I'd say the raise on turn seems really small. A flush and straight draws come in and they have amazing odds so it doesn't achieve much apart from build the pot. QT and flush hits river. And I don't see them raising for a bluff against 2 player in this spot so maybe a smaller bet could even be good on the river. Say 40%. I think it achieves the same and can lose us less in the b/f in the long run.

This raise on the turn is disgusting and pointless. There is no reason at all to do this. Flat the turn and call the small river bet.

Also river value wise I am really unsure which hands we beat call us for 15BB.

I would be check folding this river. The reason being if the players are good we're only hoping to get looked up by A9 or J9 and BTN is going to have more flushes than two pair

I don't mind the turn raise if UTG is a goosey on the loosey goosey scale but I would be choosing a bigger sizing. Flatting is otherwise very good. River is odd but because of the tiny sizing on the turn. Bet/fold seems thin because there aren't a ton of hands that call that we beat. I'd start with a check and I'm not entirely sure if I'd x/c or x/f.

Nice hand, love the turn raise, player 3 is basically checking with a chip. Good fold on the river too
