NL10 JJ

Basically in this hand I chose to make a flat PF, I don't mind it with JJ as I feel I can do well coolering with set over set and not fold out too many lower pairs and can play it ok post flop.

I don't usually show the runout of hole cards but in this case I don't mind as it about the idea I had in this hand.

I'm really just seeing what people think of the whole concept of my line here.
In hand I specifically made the turn bet small (and personally I don't think it was small enough, maybe 0.60 would be better) because I wanted him to go check on the river if he was ever inducing with a 9 or K and by my taking a betting line and choosing a small amount, I can often go to showdown cheaper and not get bluffed as much.
Does this make sense?

Preflop 3betting will be higher EV in a vacuum, but flatting a small % of the time has some benefits like inducing squeezes from the blinds or having an under represented hand postflop.

Flop is good. I'm not a fan of the turn bet. I understand wanting to get to showdown cheaply but this is a spot you're not often getting called by worse so yes you got to showdown cheaply but you're not going to win the showdown. It might be interesting if you went way smaller like $.30 but I don't think that really has many benefits over checking since the hands you'd get crying calls out of probably aren't betting large on the river anyways.
