Another super awkward hand, I think he mostly has QQ,JJ and sometimes but rarely TT and AK , I check the turn with the intent of giving him some room for bluffs and I still have some equity, this player has been tricky in the past so I see him slowplaying QQ or JJ here very often. Opinions?

I would sigh fold... Pretty much every hand that would flat a 4bet (AK, QQ, JJ & TT) beats you with the exception of AQs... And some people wouldn't call a 4bet with that. Unfortunate

Personally i would fold river as played. Like the flop bet as we are shoving most turn cards. You beat like AQ but i doubt they would even bother shoving you on river.

Important that it wasn't a 3bet / 4bet battle between you, so can skew the ranges you both hold. It's a really gross spot. Sure, TT, JJ, QQ are all there. I think maybe even 88/99 call pre. KQ/KJ/KT/QT/QJ/JT/T9 hands are all there, so throw them in equilab and what do you get? I'm in lecture, can't do it right now... but i think its a hero fold. Not nice coz.. well.. we hold Kings. They can't have nuts very easily, they can't realllllly have a straight, so the question is does this play Check 2pair or a set on the turn? Definitely feasible but i think most bet - it depends on how 'tricky' he's been with you as you've said - have you got any more info?

Just saw the FD missed too.. Doesnt' change a LOT but it's worth noting
Super close spot.

88/99 possibly even though they are not getting the correct odds to setmine... but I'd expect a huge majority of 10NL players to fold all their average broadways such as KJ/KT/QT/QJ/JT when facing a 4bet into 2 players... One of which opened UTG... They are clearly behind PF with these holdings

Villain would flat a lot of the time with KJ/KT/QT/QJ/JT vs. the UTG open

That's just from what I've personally seen. Would like to hear other peoples views

We probably still have a value-bet on the turn if we select the right sizing. Board didn't run out great for us, so it'd probably be an underbet.

Checking is not unreasonable, although vs passive opponents, betting usually works out a lot better than hoping they'll do it for us. Anyway, it's certainly not a huge problem to give a free card here. Although after villain checks back the turn instead of firing, his range is considerably capped and it's hard for him to have 2pair or better. So firing the river for value is an absolute necessity. Sizing can be pretty small, and good for him if he slowplayed something like AK on the turn.
