I would play it the same way! A lot in his range that we're doing really well against. Lots of draws out there so need to charge them and protect our hand. I expect 2 pair+ hands to raise the flop so his range would be quite capped

Bet sizing is not great in this hand.

Definitely bet the flop but reduce sizing considerably. Closer to $0.50.

We can follow up with another small protection bet on the turn with the intention of checking back river. We lose too much to villain's better holdings with the current sizing plan.

Can you give me a guideline how to think regarding the betsizing? Single raised pot, 3bet pot, wet board, dry board, vs one opponent, vs 2 opponents etc. Is there an easy way to explain it? Also when it comes to cbet the turn.
Thanks

I usually bet half pot with a second pair type hand and a flush draw, no need to bomb it just juice the pot enough in case you bink.

I would only bet around $1 for protection on the turn though. It's more to allow us to check the river behind than for value.
