I think you can go for a bet around 1.50 and get some value vs worse Ax JJ QQ KK , also possible he has some Tx that will look up a small bet

River is a value bet.

When he checks behind on the flop you expect him to have second pair type hands which he will at least call one street if you bet into him. The fact the board pairs is good for you because it will get into his head that you can be bluffing at that card. I would bet around $2.
