Pre iso a limping likely fish. Flop mega and bet smallish to keep draws in but could go bigger. Turn I dial it up a bit as can give him more stuff to continue.

River is great for me because now Kx is never getting away from this, turned straight has been rivered and I can up the bet size for... oh wait what now?

He's got KQ hasn't he.

So he can have 22, JT, Kx. Or he can have KQ, K2, K9, QQ, KK. Surely enough combos of worse value to call isn't there. Or even jam as well as vs that range he is never folding and I have great equity.

If you flop a huge hand you will only make real money by betting big. Think the less than half size pot bet on the flop is a huge leak. I'd be making it 95cents.

Turn same again, has to be bigger if you want to make money.

Don't think I' folding the river, club draw missed and they may be value betting worse like JT/22. I'd call and take a note.

I totally agree with @Harvie here, at 10nl I personally don't complicate my hands trying to "trap" etc, good Isolation bet pre flop by the way, I would then 70%-80% pot on flop and same again on turn - more often then not they will shove on the turn anyway.
I wouldn't be worried about the river at all and I would be thinking more about "Do I polarize my bet here by under betting (inducing a fish spaz shove!) or shove - I would probably have shoved the river as he's got a Kx (highly unlikely hes got KQ but if he has - F%!k your luck and move on).

@thetallpaul This makes me sad dude. Bet at least 75% pot on flop. Friggn overbet the turn against weak players. They will call with draws, never fold a good pair, putting you on a flush draw. Insta call river!

Your killing your win rate by not getting paid big with strong hands. Crying

Again bet big to get (paid) big. There's no excuse for that flop sizing. I'd even bet more with my bluffs on this flop texture (assuming thinking opponent).

As played, you're too close to the top of your range to fold on the river even though pot size river lead is obviously far from the ideal scenario.

When you make strong hands you want to target the top of villains range for value rather than worry about betting too big and having third pair fold on the flop. Villain is never folding Kx even for a pot size bet so take advantage and make it 75-80% of pot.

It's strange that you make it less than half on the flop worried he'll fold but then go for about 70% on the turn when people really start to give you more credit.

As played I'm not folding because villain's stats have started off looking a bit wrong and he might play a random Kx this way.

Yeah thanks guys. I always go to small with my bets.

The smaller flop bigger turn is based on my database. Fold to flop cbet of population is high 40's turn is in the 20's. People don't seem to fold the turn. Once they make the choice to chase or bluffcatch, they do it. River is back in the 40's again.

@thetallpaul I do exactly the same as you so you are not alone. I often bet small at the start to keep my customers and then by the river I have lost the hand!

From what the rest of the guys are saying in this thread maybe we should bet bigger from the start so if they want to see more cards then it's gonna cost them. That way we get more money when we win and a few extra folds along the way too.

I'd go at least 80c on the flop, then turn is 2.65 and I bet at least 2.30.

Makes the rive play much easier and might get the guy in on the turn too.##Basically on the flop with I see a high card and a closish connecting card and a FD I'll make it a good size with my set, just wanna get value value value!
