Pre standard. Flop I think is OK. I don't want to build a big pot here with so many turn cards I hate.

Like this one. Decide to check back again to keep it small. Too passive up to here? River I think is easy call as played and no value in a raise but on flop and turn are we going bigger/barrelling?

Flop go at least 40, just simply because we have a good hand and want value

Texture isn't the driest anyway, even though rainbow.
Turn just bet. Think about it, he could just have 99, 88, TT. Or any suited 9T, 89, etc etc.
But at least charge the guy on the turn. So that when he misses then we get value. If we check and he hits then we win nothing more. If we check and he misses then we win nothing more. If we get raised on the turn after 2nd bet then feel free to fold. It's just one of those boards that hits sets and straights, so we can't be unhappy.

I would take the same line. Betting the turn looks too thin. There's not that many worse overpairs to get value from and we're way ahead way behind anyway.

Not sure how close the river call is though. Most 10NL players won't bet two pair with a 4 straight showing, but maybe he assumes because you didn't bet you never have the straight.

I like the line though I'd definitely bet bigger on the flop (sometimes much bigger depending on the villain type). Betting the turn is most likely too thin and I can't ever fold this vs. river sizing given how the turn played out.

Betting the turn for a small sizing (underbet) will be the best play. It's likely that (bad) strategy material conditions us to believe that we need over 50% equity against a players calling range in order to bet. This is not the case, and we benefit greatly from the protection element that a turn bet gives us. Besides, if we bet small enough we are still going to be doing at least reasonably on the equity front against villain's continuing range.

And yeah, bet the flop larger.
