NL10z KQo

Pre I think should squeeze here but this was the last hand before I took a break as I was getting crushed and had dropped into passive mode.

Flop is cool so I check to the raiser and get no bet on the turn I figure loads of draws, combo draws etc that can call.

On the river I'm no ahead of all the 2 pairs, plus he can have KsXs a fair amount given the action. I feel happy to call smallish raise here but expecting to be behind a lot.

Honestly I prefer a fold rather than a call here preflop.
Anyway on the river here. we can't be folding top two for this price even though we don't love it. Vs unknown, they could have maybe a worse two pair or have us crushed. But we have no info on guy so call and take note.

I agree with @Grocker6 about prefering folding over calling. It's just the typical nasty OOP spot with a hand that doesn't like it, especially multiway. But it's a min raise so can't be too bad. Squeezing looks mandatory though.

Leading the flop is an option but checking's ok.

River is debatable. 10NL players don't usually take this line with a low two pair combos so an exploitative fold looks possible. Maybe we're overfolding for this price though. Can he really float the turn with AK?

When he checks the flop the raises the river it looks like a set a lot of the time taking a trappy line, which makes me prefer folding. A weird line from him that doesn't make a great deal of sense unless he has a nutted hand. His raise size doesn't look like he's wanting a fold too.

Calling is my least favorite option pre (unless there's a known/suspected recreational in the pot already - then folding is the worst).

I'd definitely lead this against a confirmed recreational, but checking is fine vs. unknown/reg-ish players.

Turn is good.

The river is super weird. I'd call vs. sizing because some things missed and villain's line doesn't make that much sense for value, but I'm not thrilled about it.

I don’t agree with the above posts that folding is better than calling here, but I do feel that squeezing is far superior to both. In doing so we have a lot more options available to us post flop.

As played I agree with checking this flop hoping to invite a C-bet from the initial raiser. When they don’t oblige us then we definitely need to start betting the turn ourselves. I would go ever so slightly later and make it 50c into the 70c pot.

On the river the K is obviously a great card for us but it will make it tougher to get value here as it is another overcard to some of the unimproved pairs that the villain can have on occasion. If we check it looks like we are pot controlling with a Q so I don’t think we are likely to invite many bluffs by taking this line so betting the river again seems best. Sizing seems fine here, we can’t go too large for the reasons mentioned above. When he raises I am snap calling but obviously not thrilled about it. We’re calling $1.20 into $4.70 and I would be very confident we are going to be good here a lot more than required to make this a profitable call.

Preflop I would prefer a squeeze. If the raise was 3bb then I'd say squeeze>fold>call but vs a minraise it might be squeeze>call>fold.

Flop is standard. I'd like a bit bigger sizing on the turn, maybe $0.5-0.6.

Definitely bet river. His raise is really odd. Vs an unknown I'm never folding top 2 pair, though it's possible you're behind sometimes. There are just too many unknown factors to narrow him to a super strong range and your odds are great. Reshoving seems too thin so I'd call.

Pretty good chance that leading flop is good here vs multiple opponents at these limits.

Obviously 2-barrel for value.

River raises represent a great deal of strength at these limits, but since there are some worse 2-pair combos he can raise it's basically going to be a crying bet/call. Little bit too strong to fold here, although not going to be a super profitable bet/call or anything.
