BTN, defending-ranges
I need some advice here. How do you defend A2-A9s from the BTN vs 3-bet preflop?

In this hand villain was pretty aggro, reggish and had a deep stack. How does the deep stack affect the way you play the hand preflop here?

Personally, I'm calling a 3bet there as I said in the other thread. If he was 3betting light a lot and aggro enough to making betting errors and had a deep stack then even more so. If I wanted to bluff 4bet more I'd mix in more Kxs and some off suit broadways probably.

Why you prefer flating vs 4 bet bluf here with A5s? How do you play on A boards if he is agro? you are hapy to call down? i dont think so

Suited Ax, sometimes call, sometimes 4bet basically. The stack depth doesn't influence this too much apart from Axs goes up in value as the stacks get deep. Will check out your thread if I get time.

@utgboy I don't always prefer a call to a 4bet but vs deep stack with a hand with lots of ways to make the nuts and a hand that can still flop TP vs his JJ-KK and get at least one street I like it more than a 4bet. If its A high yeah I'll get barrelled off it and that sucks but if I 4bet, get called and its A high that's not ideal either. I'm basically just hoping he folds pre if 4bet and I think I've got worse hands I can make that play with.

Its by no means a slam dunk call, or 4betting is wrong or anything. Currently though I'm calling to keep the SPR higher and playing my draws aggressively when I hit them.
