Yo!

Always an awkward spot for me!

Should I fold turn?

When straight comes for me on river, I figured we would be chopping a lot... I expected villain to shove with any flush as I have a lot of aces in my range... but he only bets $1.99... Should I call?

Preflop 3bet sizing is good against a 2.5BB open IMO.
On the flop I would probably bet just a little bit bigger since he is still calling with most of his single clubs so we want that value and protection.

On the turn I just b/f or x/f honestly because even when we aren't behind he still has a pretty good chunk of equity against us, also KQ and AK are now ahead so there really isn't much that we are ahead of here.

River is tough and player dependant but I think that you either chop with him or you're beat. Of course he could be turning his single club hand into a bluff but I think there isn't that many of those since he still has a straight with his AcXx hands. I think I fold river as played.

Think you played the hand fine if you called the river. Chances of them having a flush are kind of low with Jc and Tc already out.

Turn is fine, I would bet if they were fish and c-c against regs.

River I call because of the sizing and take note.

i think that you play good this hand, river is a easy call, we not can raise here beacuse flush are in his range, then call is very good, here only have bluff catcher or split, because few hand make value here

I can't see me playing this any differently in this situation, not that that's much of a recommendation but it all looks good to me. We can't really bet the turn but I would not be folding the river.
As mentioned by others, easy call for me and make a note about how the hand played out.

Thanks for the responses! I ended up calling but he had KcQc Sad good to hear you guys would have played it the same way!

Seems straightforward and well played to me. Turn is close between a check and a bet. Against bad/fishy types I might barrel to get value from their random 4 club stuff, to x/c on bricks. I don't mind check call on the turn either. The fact he has us crushed with KQcc is fine. I think we played it fine aswell so I'm going to call nh Smile

I would check flop/call.

As played I would check fold this turn all day everyday. It improves so much of villains range and we have little equity vs anything now.

River as played is a call.

I agree with this. Although you have TP on the flop this is one of the worst boards to have it on with no club. Turn improves any Kc draw, KQ, AQ, KJ, KT which makes up a very large portion of villain's range and you're still drawing dead vs flushes.

On the river I call but I wouldn't be very happy about it.

I agree with these guys but I'm folding the river. Most of his nut flush draws have a pair so will often check back, thus he's going to be very value heavy here.

I think you might have misread the board here. All of his nut flush draws will have the A-high straight and should definitely be betting for value. I do expect him to be value heavy here as well, though for a 1/2 pot we should have enough equity even if we're calling for a chop a lot of the time.

Ah yes thanks @Komododragonjesus definitely call for the chop here.
