I am checking this flop and I'm c-f the turn, our equity is very low with no draws, if they fire the river we have to fold unimproved. Unless you have a read that they take stabs when checked to, I'd just fold this hand and move on.

Check/folding turn is a little tight, but it's not a great check/call either. Given that we can't really check/call turn that effective at these limits, it's probably a good idea to lead turn here as a semi-bluff. If we can fold out some smaller PPs then great, if we can fold out some worse hands that's ok too, at least they lose the ability to bluff us off our AK high.

I like the flop check but would prefer a small bet on the turn if only for protection from worse overcards. I don't expect villain to fold pocket pairs but at least he might give up with worse combos that have some equity. If we check it's a green light for him to bluff and I'm not comfortable check calling AK.
