Think you played it fine, I think Jx and worse 9x hands call the river and it's a must bet against this player type, when we get raised I'm pretty sure we are behind as draws get there on the turn. I'd have gone and b/f the river a little larger like 18-22bb.

I think we have to call river as this is a very good spot for villain to be bluffing. The board is super wet and we should always fold our overpairs here for example. So when we have 3 of a kind it becomes a call as it's at the top of our range.

you are right but this is nl 5 so here i rather fold vs call because population are not bluffing enough imo

Another well played hand you've posted up.

Love the bet sizing on the river to encourage him to call with top pair. We don't expect him to have too many worse 9x combos, but he looks bad over 200 hands so maybe he can hero call any pair. Bad players don't like to believe people betting into them on a paired board so often at these stakes.

As played it's a standard fold once he raises. He can probably do this with a flush as well; lots of better hands he can have at this point.

I would go bigger pre. We are OOP and want to charge the BB to call. The smaller the raise the wider the range we are asking him to play against us. Consider shoving 100bb vs minraising... assuming he is "normal" he is folding a lot to the shove and calling super wide to the minraise.

I like flop and turn sizing, River is grotty and really depends on player tendencies. Range has to be super narrow on river for him to raise. 79 J9 T8ss AXss some KXss QXss though there is a tipping point where he raises turn rather than jams river with flushes. River jams like this look more like J9 than anything and we block the 9.

QsTx? Again though comes to tendencies.
