HAND

Hello friends,

What do you think about this hand ? No stats no read about villian. He leads on the flop and Re-raise pretty small because I have TP and nuts bdflush draw. and I have Ad blocker. How should we decide here ? no read about villian but if did, which stats should we look ?

Why raise in the first place? If you don't want to get stacks in or are unsure what to do, calling here is totally fine with your hand and is my go-to move.

As played, I just fold, not a fan of going broke in single raised pots with TPGK against unknown, it will almost always be ev- against their range.

Yeah I'd flat here. I raise donks a lot with TPTK but normally the donk is min bet or 2bb or whatever. That normally means I've got a pair or something and I don't know what to do.

When he goes bigger I'm happy to call.

As played I'm folding here, but like the others pointed out unless you're playing against a very weak opponent your hand isn't exactly strong enough to value raise the flop with.

If there's a few draws then I don't mind a raise with TPTK, not GK as has been said. In this spot if he has a FD then it's probably gonna be with a pair such as KJs when we block the NFD and no straight draws. And that's probably the best situation we'd be vs if he ships here. So yeah looks like a call as building a pot is probably a bit dangerous.

As played it's a fold at these stakes.

I agree with the others that raising on a flop texture where you're not sure how many draws villain will shove with isn't best. Calling his lead works fine. His bet size is strong too, and you're not gaining much value as his draws have good equity anyway.

My standard would be to call twice and fold the river even if the draws don't come in. Micro players just won't be firing 3 barrels often enough as a bluff.
