Don't think it's reasonable to fold this... think we will see the flush draw and 77-99 or even two flush draws enough to be worth calling after betting and the size of the pot, happy to hear thoughts... and take the suck out!
We lost a big pot when a guy flopped trips w/ 34o out of the BB, we flopped top pair with an A and turned nut flush draw... probably should fold river, but felt he had enough bluff combos to call and we were wrong obviously... very sad. If we survive 35 more minutes, we make Day 2... but it's going to be tight without a double up.
OK, I'm up and over my bust out last night. Ready for a new day. We have Event 31 today, the $27, 4max, 50K... an event I made a deep run in last year. I am going to likely late register it as there is not much to play around it at 10 AM and given the higher hands per hour and deep stacks/slow structure, it won't be a big loss to register somewhere between 11 AM and Noon.
As for the package, yesterdays winnings got us to about 60% of our money back with the following events left:
May 16/10:00 - Event 31: $27 4max, 50K May 18/13:00 - Event 38: $27, 100K May 20/10:00 - Event 43: $27 [1R1A], 50K - I will fire one bullet only as the structure is good May 21/11:00 - Event 47: $27 Mix-Max, 100K May 21/17:00 - Event 50: $27 6max PSKO, 100K May 22/11:00 - Event 52: $27 8max, 200K May 22/14:30 - Event 54: $100 Main Event, 1 Million Guaranteed May 23/09:30 - Event 51: $11 Phase 2 - ~128k @ 3k/6k/600
So at least a min-cash in the Phase 2 likely locked up with 20bb to try and keep that dream alive. And obviously a bunch of good events to give us plenty more chances at some big money.
Just a heads up guys, I am revising the schedule slightly. I am likely dropping the 1R1A on Friday. Last Sunday I put in a 16 hour session and I expect both Saturday and Sunday to be similar this weekend, plus Monday at 930 AM I have to be back up for the Day 2 Final Event. I have the $27, 100K tomorrow and the $11 100K PSKO on Thursday which means I will be putting in solid sessions each of the next two days and I looked closer at the structure and it's not as great as I initially thought to fire with one bullet. So just going to skip Friday completely.
Tomorrow's 100K event is a re-entry. So I will use the $27 for a second bullet there if I need one and if not, then I will simply give refunds as part of the payouts Monday night.
Cool! I was looking at the weekend schedule, as I don't play Saturdays much and realized the Eliminator is $27 85K PSKO, which might make a nice substitute for our 1R1A, 50K I'm skipping, IF we don't need a second bullet today, of course. Keep ya posted. And updates on breaks today as usual.
